Adamo has been very successful as a prosecutor and a defense attorney; has a lot of expertise after many years of working on each side of the fence. And thankfully for some of us, he's also teaching criminal defense classes & seminars.

I took one of those classes and it was definitely an eye-opener. I've worked in the legal industry over 20 years now, known some great, good & not so good attorneys, and was involved in a major effort to free someone wrongfully convicted of murder. But I still didn't know half of that stuff.

Adamo's classes cover a wide spectrum of topics relevant to criminal law: the statutes themselves, different classes of misdemeanors and felonies and possible penalties for such, procedures to follow for just about everything, including traffic violations, illegal searches and seizures, drug related crimes, sex crimes, crimes of violence and - especially important for any and all residents of Harris County - how to handle police encounters.

There are good cops here but it's undeniable that we also have an ongoing problem with both incompetence (BAT vans and some labs as well as some rookie cops) and serious problems with corruption. Which may account for why Harris County leads the U.S. in both proven wrongful convictions and death penalty sentences. Not a pretty picture. I strongly recommend any class he's offering, even for people not really interested in the legal system; you'll learn a lot of stuff that may help protect you and/or your loved ones someday.

As to him being an attorney, if I or anyone I care about were ever in the soup with the law for any reason, Sam Adamo is who I would most trust to take care of it.

I have known Sam for over 20 years. Because of the trust I have in Sam I have referred many friends, family & co-workers to him and will continue to do so in the future. The cases have varied in types and the defendable cases were won by Sam Adamo. Sam will always give the good, the bad and the ugly of a case to the person needing representation. One thing is for sure, with this type of approach, there are no surprises. Not one person I referred has been dissatisfied or displeased in any way. We couldn't have afforded to go to trial and their defense protected my daughter from having to. I have referred my family and friends and will continue to spread the word Sam Adamo Sr and Sam Adamo Jr are the absolute best in the business I still to this day call for legal advice and never get disappointed I receive answers immediately.
