Action Windshield Repair just stopped by this morning to fix a new crack in my Honda Accord's front windshield. It's owned and operated by a guy named Sherman Jacobs who's been in the business of fixing windshields for the past 13 years. He's a friendly guy and was very accommodating with setting up a time to come by and fix the crack on site. His price of $45 seems very competitive with the other places I called (actually the lowest) and his work was great. I had a 13" long crack in the bottom left (driver side) of my window that sprouted over a weekend while I had left my car at the airport. He stopped it from spreading (drilling an end hole) and then sealed the crack with resin. All in all it was a very smooth process and I'll be sure to recommend him personally to any of my friends who needs work done on their glass.

Prompt, efficient, friendly and professional. They even took care of the insurance paperwork for me. All I had to do was call and be there. Perfect experience!

I noticed a crack in my windshield that doubled in size last night and my insurance company wasn't going to cover the cost of the crack since it grew too big last night. Kids, here's a lesson for you: when a rock dings your windshield, cover the area with a piece of scotch tape to prevent dirt from getting inside the crack and get it fixed as soon as possible. Don't wait six months like I did. Sherman taught me that. I wish I would have called Sherman sooner.

He came to my house at our scheduled appointment time and explained what he would be doing. He said it would take about half an hour, which it did. Because I waited so long to get the repair done, Sherman was unable to get all of the dirt out of the crack. He did the best he could and told me that his work is guaranteed for as long as I own the vehicle. Since I don't want to have to replace the windshield, I'm happy as long as the crack looks a little better and is guaranteed not to get worse.

Sherman came by today to take a look at our windshield... It got a little ding driving this weekend and we thought we had to fix it ASAP. Turns out we didn't, and Sherman rocked.
