an absolute nightmare.
i reserved a car online, reservation number and all.
i get there and the guy tells me there's nothing available. can you imagine? i took an uber to get there.
i saw two SUVs and said, well that's your problem i have a reservation confirmation, upgrade me to whatever is available. he said he couldn't because they're already reserved and those people reserved before me. i said, we'll I'm here and they're not; tell them what you told me. pass it forward. can't do that. had him call the manager and everything.
i should've listened to the uber driver. he said he's dropped others off who've run into the same problem. it's like ordering a pizza for pickup, you get there and they tell you there's no cheese.

Very unprofessional. I had an appointment for weeks for someone to pick me up at the collision repair on a particular at day. I called and confirmed the day before and was assured they would pick me up the next day at 830am. The next day we had to call at 915 as no one was there. They said no one was on their way and they would send someone then. When the rep arrived he said no one had told him. The car itself was clean and adequate. When I was due to pick up my car from the repair shop I called hertz to see if I dropped the car off there, if someone could drive me to the repair to get my car. I was told I could leave the rental at the repair shop and they would pick it up themselves- no problem. Great. So I do that- and the repair receptionist takes the keys and CALLS hertz to let them know. 4 days later I get a call from hertz asking when I'm returning the rental. Again, apparently no communication from one staff member to the next. He said "I hope the car is still there". I said I hope so too as I am not going to be responsible since their staff told me to leave it. I haven't heard back but my deposit hasn't been returned yet either- I'm sure that will be a headache too. I used enterprise in Shrewsbury prior and they were great but more expensive.

The rental was a replacement while my company car was in for service, they picked me up at the dealer in a, went back to the office and quickly wrapped up the paperwork. The best part of the experience was the email I received before I got home with a copy of the rental agreement. This is huge when having to complete an expense account on a timely basis. vehicle rented was a 2016 model, and it was clean and full of gas. A 5 star experience all around
