Los Cerritos Restaurant

This place reopened under new management. It has a nice little seating area inside. They are also open an hour later than the place next-door. They have specials. They do sandwiches tortoise and hamburgers and all sorts of fun Mexican food.

The chili Colorado burrito was chocked full of nothing but tender chunks of red chili meat. In fact I don't know how they stay in business because it's so much meat for such a low price that they can't keep this up forever. I would ask next time for her to add beans to make it into a garbage style burrito because even with hot sauce is just the meat and tortillas which is fun but I like a little variety. I also got a bean and cheese burrito which was creamy and delicious.

The food is really good. The portions are great for the price but the issues is that you never know when they will be open. They open and close whenever they want and so if you try to go when they have the hours posted you will be disappointed and find no one there. But when they decide to be a business they have wonderful food. I wish they would keep steady hours of availability. But it's Holtville.

I had a special quesadilla and horchata while the Carrot Festival parade was outside. The horchata had strong vanilla scent which i liked. The quesadilla was different from the ones I had down here. Lots of cheese but also greasier than others. It was still good though.
