After having moved to Marysville recently, I was hoping to find a gaming store somewhere in the area. What I found was an honest local business that caters to various different tastes.
The employees were friendly, candid and informative. They carry standard gaming merchandise (trading card games, miniatures, role-playing games) and various other items. Although they supply games based on popular demand, they openly discuss a product's pros and cons, and nobody played the 'deceitful salesman', which earns them a high amount of respect in my book.
It's nice to find a good small business, especially in this field, and I'll certainly be returning to them in the future.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Erik F.Sacramento, CA016Jan 1, 2013

The other reviews mentioned they were honest, it had never crossed my mind until reading them that a business like this wouldn't be. Regardless, I concur. They aren't just honest they are generous.
I have kids that I take here, they are welcomed and catered to. This is a business I will frequent as long as they are open. I don't know what to say about them except that we enjoy ourselves every single time we go here. That's the best review I can give.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jaclyn L.Olivehurst, CA07Jul 27, 2014
I had a terrible time at this place.. Maybe it's because I'm not the 'traditional' type of person that frequents the place (no offense meant!) or maybe it was just the fact that it was Magic night.. But I had to ask TWICE to get someone to come help me. He offered absolutely no information, and the little I did get I had to practically coax out of him. I understand that game time is essential to the establishment, but when the neon sign says 'OPEN'.. You would think they'd be happy to help. Honestly, I could have grabbed anything and walked out! When the employee rolls his eyes at me when I ask to look at something.. I don't appreciate that! Not my type of customer service. I'm sure the people he is friendly to love the store, but for people who aren't interested in Magic, don't even bother.

I have been going here for years. The owner is funny and easy to crack jokes with. It is obvious he would rather be gaming with his customers than running a business which is why I am glad he has employees. Their Magic: The Gathering selection is unparalleled and FNM is a blast there. They happily support the gaming culture and if they are able, they provide the space needed for you and your friends to play without charging you or expecting you to buy something. Sometimes, I buy things because I feel guilty for using their space free of charge.
