A Papano's Pizza

Ordered pizza here because there wasn't a better option within 20 miles of where we were staying.

We ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza tastes like little Caesar's....but more expensive.

The total was $25 for 2 pizzas (about 12" or a little smaller).

If anyone was wondering, the "A" in A. Papanos doesn't stand for anything. They wanted the A. To help them appear at the top of every phone book. What a gimmick.

If there was a better option, I'd go to another place!

People are bitching about lack of shades or bad windows I guess? Focus on the food if you're going to judge a restaurant.
Very kind staff and the food was both quick and delicious. Would absolute buy again. Also affordable for a non pizza chain. Glad I went. Everyone else get off your high horse

Great pizza. We got a Mediterranean Chicken and a Sicilian meat lovers, both thin crust instead of hand tossed and they were both great.
They were delivered in less than the time noted and we dug in. The photo shows what's left.

I've lived in Interlochen for two years and finally decided to order a pizza. I chose A. Papano's because the prices were better than the other places and they didn't charge extra for every little thing (like flavored crust). I got a coupon on my three-topping medium and a Greek salad with extras, and the entire order (with delivery and tip) came to under $30 which is very reasonable. The pizza was delivered on time and still hot, while the salad was cold and had extra dressing. All food was very good, with lots of toppings. I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

Was visiting family and ordered from here despite the yelp reviews. Called and placed our order and picked it up about 45 minutes later. While making the order the employee told me about the specials and saved me a few bucks. Im always grateful when someone saves me money.
Pizza was ok. It's no pa pa Johns, but it was still good.

The one star is only for them at least giving us pizza. (And my butt tastes better than their pizza!!!) BUT I live allegedly 1 MILE out of their "radius" so they couldn't drive out of their way to give me their butt tasting pizza! I called two times! And spoke to two different people! And the lady was laughing at me for choosing Artichokes! Because I'm pregnant with twins and I'm craving them!!! SO I HAVE TO DRIVE BUZZED BECAUSE I TOOK A SHOT BECAUSE I WAS STRESSED AND PREGNANT AND NOW I HAVE TO STRESS EAT BUTT TASTING PIZZA AND MY BABYS GONNA HAVE ALCOHOL SYNDROME ALL BECAUSE OF APAPANOS PIZZA INTERLOCHEN!!! Ps they were late for pickup.

The sauce was very tasty. The crust was tough but fluffy. The pepperoni was cooked well like I prefer. The toppings tasted fresh and they used a good amount of toppings. It had a burnt taste or I might have rated higher. Service was fine.

Called at 6:30 on a Friday night, they said it would be 55 minutes. Delivery guy never showed. I called an hour later and they said he would call me if he could not find it, I called again 20 minutes later and they said my pizza was back at their store and I could come pick it up. They offered a 25% discount and to "Reheat" my pizza. I went to the store and the first thing the manager said was, "So here is the mystery customer, why don't you answer your phone? My guy called you and you never picked up." I showed them my call history and my voicemails, there was NOTHING. They did re-make my pizza, and tried to give me 25% off, but would have had to do some cash back since I paid with credit card.

Never once did anyone say, "I am sorry." I was accused and made to feel it was my fault.

Pizza was pretty tasteless, crust was horrible card board. 3 cheese Cheesy bread was pretty good.

I recommend you pass on this one - not sure if Cierros is better.

We ordered from here during a recent stay in the area. Our pizza was fine -- in fact, it was very good, very fresh toppings, it was even visually appealing, with the colorful veggies above the cheese -- but when we got home and got our sides out of the bag, I was rather stunned to find out that my salad not only came without a fork, but was nothing but head lettuce in a clam container. I haven't had a salad like that since about 1975.

I've given this place a ton of chances, but no more. They ALWAYS mess up the order ask for a sub without onion, they load the onion on there. Ask for flavored crust and the whole pizza is soaked in it. The employees are less then stellar, they always seem to be high or just plain rude. I'm done giving them chances, won't be going back.
