My parents sent me a fruit basket through tele flora and A Bed of Flowers was the company that fulfilled the order. The apples were bruised, the strawberries decaying and the grapes already off. I feel so bad that my parents paid good money for a thoughtful gift and this company cheapened the whole experience.
I called them and left a voice message, I also wrote them an email but there was no response.
I would avoid this company.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer N.Menlo Park, CA044Mar 4, 2013
OK . One star states "me thinks not" I 'd rather have minus stars for "F*** NO!! Don't go or use these A -Holes!'
This place is a major scam! Wrong flowers, flowers die very soon, wrong times, don't answer their phones, don't honor their, '100% satisfaction guarantee' and just don't seem to give a hoot about ripping people off.
Stay away from this place !!!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Werner R.Palo Alto, CA5395May 12, 2017

Got a gift bouquet and it is just depressing - half wilted. It's an incredibly weird combo of a yellow orchid with brown edges on every flower, red pyracantha berries (?!), and a few wilted peach-colored roses. It wouldn't be attractive even if it hadn't arrived half dead.....

Oh, how I wish I could attach photos of the lush arrangement I ordered versus the far smaller, straggly handful of lesser-value flowers that was delivered. It looks like someone grabbed a handful of Safeway flowers and shoved them in a vase, unarranged, untrimmed. Lots of carnations and some half-hearted babys breath in place of roses and hydrangea. Tea roses in place of full roses, for the most part. It was an embarrassing gift to a friend on a special occasion.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. If I could give them negative stars, I would. I really wish I had checked Yelp for their reviews before purchasing but unfortunately I didn't until it was too late. I purchased a bouquet for my sister for Valentines Day after a recent split with her husband. I decided on a all rose bouquet and since it was an FTD affiliated site I thought it would be fairly safe. Unfortunately I was dead wrong. Now, normally FTD's policy is when they are out of stock of a flower they will replace them with similar flowers of equal value, unless the bouquet is all one type of flower (like mine), and they will replace with the same type of flower in the nearest shade. Unfortunately, they didn't do that. My all-rose bouquet ended up 50% roses and 50% cheap grocery store flowers. HOW HARD IS IT TO COPY THE SAME SIMPLE BOUQUET you make 50 times a day in 1 type of flower?? I mean, you must seriously hate flowers and/or your job to somehow make a flower ugly without doing a thing to it except putting it into a vase. The sad looking bouquet was not at all as pictured and the worst part of this whole situation is that they offer a 10 day guarantee. What good is having a guarantee if you're not going to HONOR it?? I sent emails directly to them (forwarding the email to every email address listed on their website and any others I could find), in addition to contacting FTD directly. Well, needless to say neither FTD nor A Bed of Flowers contacted me back to resolve the ugly flower issue. I'm just asking for you to deliver the flowers I selected, and paid for, PER YOUR OWN GUARANTEE. If you can't or wont do that, refund my money, again, PER YOUR OWN GUARANTEE. After seeing the flowers, and having experienced this nightmare, I decided to check out their reviews online which is how I found out that there is not ONE SINGLE positive review online, for a reason! Everyone steer clear, I mean far far away from this establishment. They send over-priced grocery store quality flowers and completely ignore all your attempts to contact them when you call to ask for a new bouquet when you receive the wrong flowers or are trying to get a refund. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE.

TERRIBLE! My coworker received an arrangement from A Bed of Flowers and I can't believe how bad it is... long-stemmed calla lillies with stems completely BENT so they could be stuffed into a very short vase. And there are a few large rocks in the vase - these rocks look like they were picked up from the parking lot behind the shop. UGLY! The arrangement on their website shows nice polished rocks. I used to work for a very good florist and I have never seen such terrible floral design. These people obviously have no idea what they are doing! Very cheap ribbon. Poorly made bows. They seem to skimp on everything, especially taste. Prices are way too high for what you get. RIP OFF. Stay clear!

The worst ever! They delivered lilies that had died a month ago. I called to complain, and they said they would deliver a new arrangement the next day. They never came. I will contact 7 on your side, and they will pay them a visit.

Why isn't there an option for no stars or 1/2 a star?!?!?! This is the worst florist I have ever heard of!!! Someone used them to deliver flowers to us for Mother's Day for Friday delivery. They did not come until Tuesday! The flowers were so pathetic...they weren't even available as an under $35 gift. They were a few pathetic wilted yellow roses (one of which was broken at the stem and shoved in deep so you couldn't notice), a few wilted baby red roses inserted at various depths which was completely lopsided, all in a NEON ORANGE PLASTIC VASE! I have never heard of a plastic vase for floral delivery, much less a neon orange one!! They said they would pick them up and replace them, but still have not done so 2 days later! WTF! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! This company deserves to go out of business!!!!! Stay Away!

My experience with this florist was so horrible, it is almost unbelievable. I used FTD to order a rather expensive arrangement for my partner's Birthday. He was home all day and evening and no delivery. I began calling FTD in the afternoon and continued to call throughout the evening trying to find out where the flowers were?! FTD said the same thing every time, "there is not answer at the florist but I am sure they will arrive." No flowers. The next morning I begin my calls again. This time they told me the driver attempted to deliver but couldn't get in the building an no one answered the phone. Finally I receive a call from this florist, the first time I had the phone number to call them direct. The person that answered told me the driver did not have the phone number with her. Upon receiving the flowers today at 3:30, the flowers are dry and awful looking, but are you ready for this??? - the balloons say Happy Mothers Day. I have NEVER had a more terrible experience with a florist. EVER! I am furious!
