I wanted something very specific for my bouquet and bridesmaids flowers related to my grandmother and flowers that we would pick together. She talked me out of it because of availability, expense, etc. She highly recommended substitutions.
On my wedding day, there was nothing but roses. I could have gotten them from any florist. Very basic and she was out of town and unavailable to her staff.

The decor and table settings were beautiful but I designed them myself and she executed my idea.

This place has the worst customer service. She has no pictures on her website of the flowers she's done which should speak volumes to her work. Do not order from here unless you want to be disappointed. If you tell them you want roses, you will get carnations. She clearly doesn't listen to a word you say when you're placing your order because what you want and what you get are two totally different things. TERRIBLE FLOWERS ARRANGEMENTS AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere!! If I give 0 stars, I would.

Her work looks nice online but her business skill are terrible. I gave a deposit based on estimate, design consultation, had her on the calendar for months as my florist and day of coordinator. Then came the surprise of her contract; the small print saying she is not liable for ANY damages she or her staff cause to the venue or guests. Scratched floor, broken art work, chipped paint; you have to pay for it. She agreed with on the phone to change this clause (you'd have to be an idiot to sign a contract like that!) When we arrived at the meeting to sign the new contract she announced she was dropping us as clients because "people like us" are red flags. We had been working together for months and this was just a few weeks before my wedding. Certainly there are more tactful ways for a business professional to handle herself.

Blessing in disguise, Jo Schulman was a fantastic wedding coordinator and we found Leon, a more creative florist who charged $20 less per centerpiece and used more expensive, rarer flowers. I've remained friends with them and other vendors of mine and continue to be pleased to send business their way.

Allison just did the flowers for my daughter's wedding ( with 2 weeks notice) and they were spectacular!! She and her team executed our vision perfectly! Our first florist's sample display was a real disappointment and we realized she wasn't going to be able to deliver what we wanted, so I called Allison hoping she could help us. We got so lucky, she was able to squeeze us in. Easy to work with, great ideas, and her arrangements are gorgeous! Can't say enough good things about her!! And her prices are competitive!! You get what you pay for!
If you're getting married in Pittsburgh, use Allison McGeary, you won't regret it!!!!!!

My only complaint was that she couldn't do the flowers for MY wedding.

Allison and her team were amazing to work with from the beginning to the end. Allison was there to setup for my Engagement Party and I was blown away by how well she took care of me and my party. She brought more than I asked/paid for to make it right and just went above and beyond what I was expecting. The flowers/balloons she did for me tied everything together in such an essential way, and made the party BEAUTIFUL. Will hire her and her team again in a heartbeat.

I am a repeat customer at Allison McGeary. In my business I am constantly in need of arrangements for clients and co-workers. Her staff is friendly and professional and they always deliver stellar arrangements. For one particular consultation we hired them to create large arrangements. We had a big budget, but they definitely gave top of the line arrangements that you would see in a wedding magazine. Very happy with Allison and recommend her EVERY chance I get!

The final product looked nice, but the service was disappointing. After learning of comparable services, also overpriced. I met with Allison initially, never to speak with her again after. I had multiple issues with unresponsiveness and felt there was a general lack of interest in providing anything more than the bare minimum.

Really?? Does this place ever get business? I've always walked by wondering and decided to go in and ask a few questions about some arrangements I was looking to buy. The woman was SO rude! I do not recommend this florist for anyone that wants good customer service. Maybe I didn't look "wealthy" enough for her but you just lost a lot of potential business.

We hired Allison for my wedding. After a brief discussion, she made a sample centerpiece, which I did not like. I told her that I had something else in mind and sent her photos of what I wanted. I never heard back from her about my suggestions. The flowers at my wedding ended up being similar, if not the same as the first centerpiece that I did not like. 2 stars for the flowers showing up at the wedding on time and looking nice. But, it wasn't what I wanted!
