Just recently had 2 small plain pizzas and a steak #9 and a chicken #9 and they were all fantastic. Both of the subs were overflowing with meat and vegetables and the pizzas were cooked to perfection.
This was a pickup order and everything was being boxed up when I arrived so it was nice and hot when I got it home for everyone.
I always like that it is clean when I go there and that the staff is always nice to deal with as well. Hopefully it stays the same as it was a bit hit or miss for a while, so nice job on staying consistent and getting great food out!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 100369718Nov 11, 2022
They make pretty good pizza here.
I was in there and got just a plain cheese pizza with no additional toppings.
I was with one other person so we got the large sized pizza and split it. Plus a couple of sodas.
The person taking my order was nice enough and got the order right in for us. We got our sodas right away.
The tables and floors in the restaurant were clean. The restrooms were clean as well.
There was not too long of a wait between ordering and receiving our food.
The pizza was cooked just right without being overdone.
The crust was even good and I am not usually one to eat all of my crust when I get pizza but this time it was so tasty I couldn't help but eat more of it than usual.
A nice place to stop if you're near Cape Cod and don't want to spend a lot of money eating in some of the fancier restaurants on the Cape.Helpful 49Thanks 2Love this 45Oh no 1 - David G.New Bedford, MA2413871144Jan 27, 2023
What a bad idea it was for D'Angelos to become part of the dirty spot pizza spot. A shame as you can live with Papa Gino's as it is just a cheap pizza spot anyway but this ruins D'Angelos, period. We even saw an employee from the old D'Angelos that told us how rough it was for them.
Truly though, the tale is in the taste, and I had my Chicken #9 and it was NOTHING like it was before. It is now expensive ($12 for a medium?), with stale bread, and of course lots of salt. It was a miserable taste, and the shot here should prove how bad it was with almost no toppings at all. A truly awful experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Meredith P.Cambridge, MA01Nov 5, 2023

The personnel were awesome: friendly, helpful, professional and always smiling!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Peter M.Providence, RI02Apr 27, 2023
First off I love the food they sell.
Now I door dash on the side. I can honestly say this place is probably the worst when it comes to waiting for door dash orders. I stopped taking orders from them a while ago. So I decide to take one today for good money and short miles.
Well it was one salad and a pizza. With it being slow I figured I'd be out quick. Well 7 minutes later nothing done. So guess I'm back to ignoring this papa ginos when I'm door dashing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jose O.Brockton, MA01May 19, 2023
Was out of town and decided to stop for a nice pie. The young man at the counter was very respectful and quick when it came to taking my order and he instantly got me my soda. The whole restaurant was clean and had a good vibe to it and it was the perfect place to check my emails and respond to colleagues. In all this place rocks and i would highly recommend people to come here and the employees there need some recognition and need to be praised.

Papa's Perfect Pizza

A Valentine's day present from God

I'm at Papa Gino's with my husband

I was debating getting a large Greek pizza, because I was in the mood for pizza on this day, but I really wanted pizza for Valentine's day. The coupon I had was 50% off pizzas online Mon-Weds only. I thought about how I could have something else for Valentine's day, being undecided I asked God what shall I do.
I finally decided to get a small and ordered it online to receive the 50% off discount.
I walked into Papa Gino's within 3 minutes of ordering to wait for my pizza. I then saw the worker that makes my pizza the best. I asked the manager if my favorite pizza person could make my pizza, and the manager said yes! My favorite pizza person was delighted to make my pizza.
I knew that I would have to wait approximately 20 minutes for my pizza to cook as she just was making it.
As I sat and waited patiently in the dining area my name was called, I stood up and slightly went around my booth and I saw the manager standing there holding my pizza. The manager said to me that when I placed my order online within those 3 minutes another employee already put my pizza in the oven. The manager than said to me now you have 2 pizzas!
The manager walked over to my table with the pizza and lifted both the box lids and she said look how different they look compared to your favorite pizza person and the other person that put your pizza in the oven previously. There was a big difference and I said back to the manager that's why I like my favorite pizza person making my pizza.
I had great joy in my heart and I wanted to do something for my favorite pizza person so I asked the manager if there was some award program at Papa Ginos that can recognize her for doing a great job. The manager said there is no reward program from the company if you do a great job.
I then said what can I give to her to show my appreciation for what a great job she does. The manager said some people leave feedback and some people leave tips. I decided to do both. I left my favorite pizza person a tip and I asked the manager for the information to contact corporate so I could leave positive feedback not only for my favorite pizza person, but also for her the manager.
I looked at the top of the pizza box that had the pizza from my favorite pizza person. Written on the top of the pizza box said "Made W/ Love."
I decided to save that pizza for Valentine's day.
God
When I was asking God to clarify if I should get a large pizza or a small it is not by coincidence that I received two small cheese pizzas it was God's gift to me for Valentine's DayHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Huxley C.Bourne, MA671Nov 6, 2018
Better dough, better sauce and better cheese combinations!
Your average mom and pop and strip mall pizzas are so bland compared to Papa Gino's!
Too bad they aren't well managed and so many of them have closed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 11, 2016
Pizza is a very personal and/or regional taste. My pizza tastes where honed in New Jersey about 10 miles from Manhattan. I like crisp thin crust. Some would call this New York style.
Nothing in the Wareham area exactly matches my taste, but I find Papa Gino's as close as I can get with any place that will deliver to me.
We always get delivery and I always order on-line. Our pizza of choice is the Rustic Meat Combo.
The delivery people are always polite and deliver on time about 95% of the time.
There is good quality control, so you likely to get the same taste next time as you got this time.
I have tried every other pizza place in town, and will stick with PG until a better place opens up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sweet Q.MA, MA02Sep 13, 2021
So sad. I eat plant based so I order spaghetti with sauce and broccoli no meat with bread no cheese. I get two meat balls meat sauce and cheesy bread then they lock the door and ignore my calls. Seriously I'm pissed and Hangry right now!!!!!!!
