Guaranteed Rate

Kim Brant (MLS ID: 1322486) was my loan officer. Nicest, smartest, most trustworthy person I could hope to handle my refinance. I live in CA and she works in MN. My dad is from MN and it's true that the nicest people live there.

She worked hard to get me a one-point reduction on a jumbo loan even though I'm self-employed. Chase Mortgage, my lender for 18 years, wouldn't even consider refinancing me despite my spotless payment record. Their loss because it helped me find something much better.

The online documentation upload process is so easy to use. It was streamlined and pain-free. The underwriters did ask for additional, updated documentation piecemeal, but that's everywhere if you're self-employed.

Kim Brant kept everything on track and provided helpful, honest reassurance and advice when needed. Most of all she remained a gracious professional who takes pride in her work. I can't say enough good things about Kim and about Guaranteed Rate. I will be telling my friends and family.

If it's to good to be true it probally is.
I got preapproved for 56,000 HELO only to find out I can't use my wife's income. Doesn't say that when you apply. They gave me some BS story that NJ isn't a community property. BS again because I've shopped around and was able to get it with a co signer and my wife's income with other companies.
They told me to reapply so I did and now I'm not qualified for the loan.

They string you along, take forever and just when you think your good, they pull some kind stunt.

Loan officer was helpful until I inquired about down payment assistance programs. Never heard from him again. Oh well. Got a better deal with Huntington Bank. Thanks Kevan!

Horrible customer service. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Kept getting transferred from one representative to another. They hung up on me three separate time. Without letting me know they were closing they just kept hanging up instead of informing me.

The team and Guaranteed rate helped me Secure my loan for a new home in Wyoming Ohio. They helped me every step of the way from the very beginning through to the final step when my loan was approved. Everyone was so easy to work with, and very responsive to me when I had questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again and without doubt I will.
