My wife and I went to their new showroom to plan our new kitchen. Mike showed us their custom cabinets in the showroom and talked about their quality. After 4 weeks waiting, we went back for a presentation with a new person and she tried hard to sell us a cheaper line of cabinets, like the Home Depot cabinets. We never went back. If you are looking for custom work, look elsewhere.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tom T.PA, PA01Aug 1, 2021
I'm not even sure where to start. We went with Mastercraft because we thought we would get what we paid for. Their pricing was much higher than other quotes we got, but figured we would get better quality on our shower remodel. It took longer than what was listed on our project outline and the material is subpar. When they said they finished, the door to the shower wouldn't open or close because the door is not even close to square with the frame and the seal was installed incorrectly, and the shower was leaking in the garage. They came back and fixed the leak, they said it was because they didn't connect the pipes properly. The drywall that they installed isn't square either so nothing fits right. Then they said they would be back to fix the door 2 months ago, we sent follow ups and never heard back from them. Don't waste your money your can get the same or better quality for a better price.
Update: it's now going on 10 months and this has still not been resolved.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - William K.Glenside, PA02Aug 2, 2018
We were pretty happy with MasterCraft through the planning and construction phase of our kitchen remodel. They created a nice CADD drawing of our project and the customer service was decent. When they finished we loved how it looked. However, it was very apparent after a few months that the job was not as high quality as we had hoped for. Our remodel was completed just over a year ago, and the kitchen looks much older than that. They made a big deal out of the cabinets, but they are very low quality, and the paint has begun chipping from many cabinets and doors, even ones we barely use. Also, if any water drips on a cabinet and is not wiped away immediately, a warp will occur. The laminate flooring they installed was recommended to us because we have young kids and it is supposed to be very durable. However, the tiles have already begun to noticeably separate in several places, with some separations close to an inch. They also cheaped out and used nails instead of screws when hanging the drywall, which has resulted in bumps throughout the wall. Finally, while doing some electrical work in the ceiling they bumped a water line for our baseboard heat in our upstairs, which over the winter began to leak through the kitchen ceiling and resulted in several hundred dollars of repairs.
I wish I could be writing a good review after spending so much money on a home improvement, but we would definitely not recommend using MasterCraft.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Susan G.Ambler, PA05Sep 27, 2016
Excellent quality but very very poor project management. Bathroom project was estimated at 5 weeks and took 10 weeks. Some weeks - workers would only be there 1 day. Very very disappointed in the level of customer service received - unanswered emails, etc. Office staff would return calls but they were uninformed. I expected more as the price was very high.

My wife and I had been discussing a kitchen remodel for quite some time and had heard some good things about MasterCraft. When the time was right we called them along with 2 other area contractors to discuss the job. I must say that Mike and Joe made the decision easy. On our first meeting they seemed less interested in selling us and more interested in serving us. They listened to our ideas and were truly interested and engaged in the discussion, answering questions, making suggestions and explaining some of the different ways we could go about it. Naturally, price was a major consideration for us so when Mike and Joe took us through our options and price points they were able to discuss alternative product choices and explain what made one product different from the next with authority. They ensured that we understood and were comfortable with the direction we were headed in before pulling the trigger. The installation was completed on schedule, on budget and the results were spectacular! Thank you MasterCraft for the flawless execution of our dream kitchen and for making the experience a pleasant one!
