Beach Pub Lounge Pizza

I was staying at the hotel next door (Ocean View Inn - be sure to read that review before staying there). So I went to the Beach Pub Lounge because it was in walking distance. It is a great little dive bar. The bar tender, Patricia, is wonderful and deserves a raise. She knew everyone of the patrons, including me before I left. The second time I went in there, I was welcomed by name. They have a menu consisting mostly of fried food, but the chicken sandwich I had was phenomenal. Patricia made sure I had as many beers as I wanted. She also made sure my water cup was full, which was nice. I will not be staying at that hotel again, but I will be going back to the Beach Pub Lounge. You should go too.

Not to be confused with Beach Pub on Laskin - separate place and not related. Great local dive bar off Ocean View Ave. Bartender was very nice and the prices were cheap. Happy hour from 4-7. There is an old bar with a pool table and juke box and another section filled with booths. We tried the fried fish and the BLT. The BLT and fries were very good and only $6. Fish didn't come out right the first time but bartender sent it back and had it re-made. It came out great the second time and I wasn't charged. We sat there having beers, listening to good music and chatting with the local patrons. Entire bill was $17. If you're looking for a real local dive on he north shore, Beach Pub should be a stop.
