From the time I walked in I was welcomed with smiles! The reception area was fantastic and warming and the students that I encountered were friendly and professional. I had Hannah who was wanting to specialize in color and she did a fantastic job! She was patient and listened to me and explained everything she was doing even when I didn't ask.
My daughter had a hair cut and nails done by Allyson and she was so sweet and patient.
Will be using this place again for future services!

Let me say, I am absolutely stunned by the quality of work received I received and the work I watched others receive. The girl that did my hair - I think her name was Ella-Grace- she worked with me and helped me decide what I wanted to do with my hair and it turned out beautiful if I could get my hair done every weekend by her I simply would . We had such good conversations and I could have sat there all day. And the price was so worth it. I got my hair cut, colored, and styled and anywhere else I would have paid so much more! The student's are very nice so as the instructors. They communicate with their clients. I would love to return there to have a hair cut . O poop rice is reasonable too!

Great job Chantal of cutting my hair today. But many of the stylists were not covering their nose and in some cases wore the mask like a necklace. Some were congregated outside by the door and not social distancing or wearing masks. Others were smoking in a corner and not social distancing. Not very reassuring to a customer. The supervisors should check the mask protocols inside AND outside. It's not a good look for a customer's first impression.

Being new to the area, I was searching for someone to cut and color my hair. The first place I tried wanted $175 for a hair cut and high lights. Frankly it just isn't worth that much money to me. Then I tried Leon's Beauty School. Over the past months I have had four different students cut and color my hair, and they have done a wonderful job. Each student has a supervising instructor, and the students will not hesitate to ask for assistance. They are really pleasant to work with as are the instructors. My husband said my hair has never looked better!

A fixture of Greensboro. Been coming here off and on for over 40 years. If you have the time (60 to 90 minutes for a cut) to let the students gain some actual practice, then please do so. Staff can be very friendly and helpful. Students are fun to talk to and interesting to see the process used to get the job done.
