MVP Sports Bar & Grille

This neighborhood bar is what it is. Live music, cold beer, and great wings. Like, surprisingly good wings.

The hot wings are pretty mild for hot wings, so I like a side of their extra hot sauce for an extra dip.

Its a casual, neighborhood bar. There are a couple games up front like a pop-a-shot and there's keno as an option too. Service is friendly though when it's busy it can be a little slower. Fortunately they have pitchers and buckets so just stock up and hang out.

I havent tried much else on the menu because I like the wings so much, can't really speak to the rest of it.

A really fun little place to see a show. I've enjoyed my visits very much and will be back.

Stopped in for Cincy Taco Week. They offered a BBQ chicken taco or a basic beef taco. I ordered both. Hubby got the $5 burger special which came with fresh cut fries. He really liked the burger & fries. I enjoyed the chicken taco - very flavorful. The beef taco tasted strongly of chili powder - could barely taste anything else. The live music was decent & there were plenty of TV screens if you like sports. We would return here when in the area.

So entering into MVP you will find a pretty large sports bar kind of place. They have live music on the weekends and open stage on Wednesdays. We went on Monday of Cincinnati Burger Week. They didn't seem as though they were overly prepared. Our server was not familiar with the beer special along with having no clue what kind of drafts beers they had. She only knew the brewery but didn't know what type of beers they had nor did she offer to find out. We ordered beers and two of us ordered the jalapeño cream cheese burger and a Sargent pepper cheese burger. We had tater tots and fresh cut French fries. Overall the burgers were tasty. The Sergeant Pepper was the preferred out of the two. The food was good and I would recommend stopping in and giving it a try.

Yes hard to get seated for food as you are competing with drinkers, sadly sitting at a bar to drink makes sense having 2 people sitting at a large table drinking while 4 people cannot find table to eat drink is crazy

My lunch options have been revied with MVP. From daily lunch specials and classic favorites. Yesterday I was craving grilled cheese and chilli. I must say they didn't miss on either, my grilled cheese was hot crispy and made with Texas toast not sandwhich bread. The chilli was hearty and enough to complement the grilled cheese.

Good for what it is, a sports bar with lots of TV's and live music. Easy, free parking across the street, signs say there is a two hour limit, not sure if that's enforced. We had the fried pickles and the chicken wings, both exceeded expectations. Our female server was very friendly and attentive. Minus one star, when we paid, the male bartender rolled his eyes that we had a coupon from Cincy Savers. Look dude, your management elected to offer the deal, and we wouldn't have come here at all if we hadn't stumbled across it. We tipped on the whole amount, too. Next time keep your eye roll to yourself.

We love MVP. The staff is super friendly and the owners really care about their community. $5 burgers on Tuesdays make for a cheap lunch away from the office. It's a great place for Happy Hour. My favorite is the Buffalo chicken tater tot box. They also have a good tap beer list. Live music several nights a week.

I wish I could give this place a 0. My daughter contacted this establishment in regards to an issue with wings from 4/1. She was told that they would replace them and had gotten the run around. I called to place and order on my way to work and try to rectify this situation. I asked to speak with the manager and the woman asked who was calling as the woman yelled in the background, that's the same girl, I'm calling the police. I really couldn't get a word in,I tried to say I wasn't and asked for the woman's name which the woman on the phone said "Melinda".About an hour later my daughter gets a call on her cell from the police saying that the staff fear for their life and she was banned. Unfortunately, I couldn't upload that video and this is only the first 12 secs of this video . The sad part is the owner never tried to rectify this or simply have a conversation. However, the owner did reply to my review on google with a story. We have never eaten in the establishment or purchased drinks and we have receipts that reflect that. As you can see I had just purchased food the night before. Our money can be spent anywhere. Consumer please be ware and cautious!
