Buckskin Towing & Repair

My husband's truck broke down he was in Colorado, and I was in Arizona, so our first action was to call AAA. After waiting over 2 hours with no progress, he called our insurance company. Same response. It was late so he got a ride home and figured we'd try again in the morning. We did, and insurance suggested we call someone ourselves and they would reimburse us. I looked up towing companies and reviews, and. I liked the reviews I read, and the fact that they are family owned. We called them , and they were there within 30 minutes. The driver took one look at his truck and knew exactly what was wrong. He had it towed to their garage, some not so good experiences with another garage in town. This is the quote from my husband's text to me " What a breath of fresh air. Buckskin Towing is. From the tow guy on a Sunday, to repair, and the cashier, so efficient, and nice people. Finally a garage I can count on." They even separated the towing charge from the repair charge for the insurance company. Very happy! Highly recommend!

I have not been writing a lot of yelp reviews lately, but these guys did such a great job I had to make sure to put one in.
Got stuck in the snow about 11pm at night. Called for a tow truck and was given a 30-minute estimate. Guys showed up about 25 minutes later and worked their butt off to get me out and up the snow-covered hill. Despite taking 45 minutes of their time and asking to be pulled up the hill they didn't run up the bill at all. What they charged was more than fair and the guys were super friendly about the entire experience. Especially considering the time and I am sure they had a long night ahead of them.

Our Sprinter Van's belt and pulley ruptured causing our battery not to recharge. We were stuck and barely made it into their shop. Although not a Mercedes shop, Brad diagnosed the problem, found the part needed on the internet and in town and a few hours later our van was fixed. We were and are very grateful to them. Thank you

Unplanned pick up truck breakdown (pulling RV). Safely coasted to Wal Mart parking lot. Mobile phones fluctuated between No Service and one bar so calling or researching diesel mechanic choices was almost impossible. Able to read a couple of reviews. Called mechanic garages BUT struck out with availability for that day.

Since Buckskin was unable to take our vehicle, my husband asked Buckskin for recommendations on who they would recommend we try to contact. Buckskin said they WOULD NOT recommended any business as they are "the competitors ". Not helpful in anyway. Buckskin was already busy and couldn't help us. To not even recommend other repair shops was less than friendly.

Best towing service I have ever experienced. I have the worst luck with cars, so it's no surprise I broke down on the way back home.
They were quick, friendly, and so easy to work with!

So, if you notice I never leave a review. Well, Buckskin and the people of Pagosa Springs were amazing in our 'True' hour of need. Long short I put my Jeep Grand Cherokee in the ditch. Not a normal scenario, we were at a 45 degree tilt, with nothing but snow keeping the truck from rolling down the embankment. Everybody and I mean everyone that drove by offered to help, from good'ol boys to fedex to couples. As good as a bad experience can be everyone made it extremely bearable. Then Buckskin Towing gets there and has me on the road in five minutes. End of the story....no damage, not a scratch! Thank you to everyone!!!

We had a tire blow out, and one about to blow on our way to our honeymoon.. the driver came quickly and was very kind! He got us to the tire shop, then gave us a ride from the tire shop over to the hotel since our tires wouldn't be there till the next day.

These guys are awesome. Tyson was very friendly and helpful. Got me on the road quick and really took care of me. Just added to Pagosa's charm
