Nail Salon Aqua

This place was recommended to me by another nail artist, and Yuki-san did not disappoint.

I went in not really having any pictures to reference, but Yuki-san did amazing I requested for mermaid like nails and she delivered!!

I highly recommend making an appointment in advance, so you can get your preferred day.

I wanted to treat myself to some Japanese style nails for my upcoming birthday. I found this location on Yelp, so I requested an appointment. Dena completed my gel pedicure & Yuki completed my Gel X extensions. I was unsure of what to get for my extensions, so I shared a picture that I had saved. The design was inspired by my birthstone, amethyst. Very fitting for the occasion! Overall, I am pleased with the work and will likely visit again.

I love the art they did on my nails. Although the gel nail polish cold have been smoother. The location needs a lot of clean up though. They. Do not use sterile items for each client.

Ah! This is the my new favorite nail salon...well now my only nail salon...clean, friendly and by appointment. I didn't like appointment only but when u pull up to the nail salon and you chair is waiting for you to have a seat with no wait...yeah, I can get used to making an appointment. Madoka did my ombré gel nails. Slightly higher price but better quality products.

I went here for the first time a little over a week ago. It's by appointment only and they were very punctual in letting me in on time. I got a pedicure and extensions. There was only one other customer and when she left the station she was at was fully sanitized. I got nails with quite a few gems. I let yuki know I wanted something with bling and just a little extra because they were my birthday nails. I told her the color I wanted and told her to do whatever she wanted. I was really happy with the result. The reasons I knocked off one star was for the following: The gel she used for my extensions was all over the underside of my nails. I kept getting dirt and such stuck under there which was a little annoying. It would have been nice for her to clean up after she was done but I didn't notice until after I got home or I would have asked her to do it. A few days after, gems started falling out. I've had 3 gems fall out so far but I have so many they still look nice! Dina did my pedicure and I was happy with it although they didn't have a big selection of regular nail polish. I had to get a different color on my toes than I got on my hands. Overall it was a very nice experience. Dina and Yuki were both super nice and professional and I will definitely go back.

The first time I came was on Mar.14.18 and I wanted my nail set a bit fancier, and I was incredibly satisfied with the result! My nails had a purple concept for a Kpop group 'Astro,' and how they turned out was completely to my satisfaction. I got a lot of compliments, and I would definitely recommend this place :) I got them done by Patricia, and she is very sweet. Keep in mind, fancier nails are a bit on the pricier end, but it is definitely worth it for the quality and durability of these nails. The process of getting gel nails here is very gentle, and leave ur nails in good condition even afterwards. My nails were looked as if they were just done even after 4-5 weeks before getting a new set.

My second set of nails (white ombré base with blue mermaid-like details) done by Patricia did not disappoint me at all! Despite being a bit indecisive of how I wanted my designs to come out, I told Patricia that she could do it to her liking and she could surprise me, and it came out wonderful! I am completely in love with them, and this time without extension tips, the result was lovely! I always look forward to coming back again :)

Patricia did a really good job. I was having lunch at Hakata, when I saw the nail salon next door. They don't usually take walk ins, but I was lucky that Patricia was able to accommodate me. I was tired coming out from a medical appointment, so I had her decide on which design and I told her what I like. She nailed it. I have simple and elegant gel mani. Good job!

ERRRMAGAWD! I absolutely LOVE this place!!!

I have been here twice so far and have had the pleasure of being serviced by both Yuki and Ayako once and they're just amazing at what they do. The first time I came was because I was looking for a good Japanese style nail salon that had nail designs quality like Cync Salon in Torrance (which I will not go back to even though i love the nails they create) that was in the South Bay area.

It's definitely lacking in decor and nail styllists but at the same time its a good thing because even with just going 2x so far, I feel connected with them. The most recent experience I had there was with Ayako doing my nails and she was so sweet. I told her I wanted sunflowers and to keep it simple. From there, she winged it and came out with such a lovely design and nail cut for my nails. Even with the gel removal from the last time I came, i ended up spending less than $100 which is not bad at all (WITH TIP!)

Note: This is a Japanese style salon. Do not expect the same experience as your typical asian salon where you just walk in. They take doing your nails to show off your unique style seriously without the waste of things like hand massages and such. You pay for the quality of the nails and it's well worth it

I've been coming here for the past 8 months or so to have my nails done by Madoka! She's an awesome artist - she's super up to date with all the current nail trends and can go with photos you bring but has awesome ideas if you aren't sure what you want before you come in. The salon is by appointment only so you know that you'll be seen without having to wait. They just revamped their set up with and the new pedicure station layout looks great!
