Monte Vista Cleaners

I have been using this cleaners for more than 5 years. I would take clothes here every Friday. That being said, they have been in the past great for my clothing and replacing or taking care of issues. But the past year or more the lady during the week is unbearable to work with. She blatantly lied about having a shirt redone. She just rehung it up and gave it back to me on my next visit. She always had an attitude and isn't to friendly. Maybe it's other issues because she definitely let you know her political values.....

Horrible service. Long wait times. The price isn't worth the Hassle. Cost me money because nobody was there during normal business hours, essentially held my clothing (and others) from being picked up for multiple days.

Moving on.

I come here to get my husbands church clothes dry cleaned. I have been multiple times and have enjoyed the service every single time UNTIL this time today I attempted to drop the clothes off for dry cleaning and a lady named Sandy or Sandra was there. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had a little girl there with her which was in a bin of some type. She had the music blaring and could barley hear what I was saying. I gave her my phone number and she said You don't have an account and I said oh strange ive been here multiple times and she then asked for my first and last name and I gave that to her but she insisted I've never been there. She never offered to add me or to help any further. I have loved my previous experience here but this time was absolutely horrible. She was rude and I will not return. Id rather use a dry cleaner that I can trust and that is professional.

Horrible customer service. Dropped off 2 items Monday and said wouldn't be done until Friday. Went Friday morning and she looked at my slip and didn't even look to see if my stuff was ready and said it's not ready until 1. No where on the ticket did it say 1pm just the date when it would be ready. She was very rude. If I could give no stars I would

Two weeks ago I wrote the cleaners explaining how poorly my husbands suit was dry cleaned, it had white fuzz ALL over it.  Okay, never heard back, things happen.
SO I return today to drop off a brand new white shirt for a wedding and two NEW pillow cases (I want nice to put on pillows as a gift). The employee, Delora, was extremely rude and distracted. I was very surprised to hear your policy that you can't guarantee the pillowcases will be returned without spots. I expressed that I have never been told that before and was told 'then someone isn't doing their job and I'd better let them know!'. My instinct was to not leave the cases but my card had already been charged so I let it be. The military customer waiting just shook his head hearing this policy. He was also taking care of a little girl who was playing with the heavy doors, he kept telling her to watch her fingers. This little girl is who was distracting Delora but not sure why she was so rude. I was already upset at this point and planned on writing a yelp review and never using this cleaners again.
THEN I get a call an hour or so later saying did I look at my recent from the cleaners. I had been charged $120 for the shirt and 2 cases and was told I had to come back down to get a credit. So, with my already full afternoon, I jumped in the car. I understand I shouldn't have signed the receipt without proof reading it, I've learned the hard way I guess. I am then credited the amount and then charged the full $15 for my dry cleaning! No discount for my inconvenience???  I guess customer service is dead at this location.  I will be going elsewhere from now on with my business.
When returning the second time the same little girl was playing with the door. Very unprofessional!

My old dry cleaners in my neighborhood did not survive the pandemic. I looked online at many different cleaners and the reviews, and Monte Vista appealed to me above the rest. They were friendly, did a great job, very reasonable; I have found my new dry cleaning store!

My king size comforter is ruined! I dropped it off last Thursday, paid $21 for laundry not dry cleaning. Picked it up this evening and just took it out of the bag....All the material inside is matted together and in the corners and middle, some parts of the comforter has no filling. There is no recovery for this comforter. This is set is less than a year old and now i have to go purchase a new one. I knew i should have taken it to a coin op and cleaned it myself.


I would at least like my money back for the cost of laundry $21.00.

Update 11/23/15 ... Mr Hill is attempting to fix my comforter by redoing the batting. If i am unsatisfied with the outcome, in one week, he will replace the set.

I took my dress there since last week I took my brothers shirt there too they got my brothers shirt ready but not my dress I mean really I took both of them at the same time same day I went to pick it up cause supposably it was supposed to be ready by Monday and as I stopped by they told me that "MAYBE" it will be ready by Friday I mean really I have to go to a wedding that day never taking my clothes there again EVER! Worst service ever never going there again and never recommending this place

I have used these cleaners in the past with good success, but will no longer do so. I dropped off a couple of items at 7:30am on Thursday and was told they would be ready after 5pm on Friday (not same day service like advertised, but whatever, I was happy they would be ready before I needed to leave town on a business trip). Fast forward to this evening when I pick them up, and I'm told they didn't clean my wool slacks because the tag says "Do not steam".

Well, I've had them cleaned at this location before... and by the way, the tag says "Do not steam iron". Not do not steam. Big difference.

No one bothered to call me to let me know they wouldn't clean them (so I could have told them to read the label more closely, or at least I could have taken them elsewhere to be cleaned before I need to get on a plane tomorrow morning). I specifically took these to be dry cleaned because the temp at the location I'm going to just dropped in to the 20s and I wanted my warmest dress pants. Looks like I'll be cold instead.

If they can't bothered to read the tag correctly, or be bothered call me when they won't take an item, I will not be giving them anymore of my business.

The good: they're at an affordable low price.
The bad: I came 2 weeks ago to drop off 2 beautiful dresses. The lady said because the tags did not give specific clean instructions she refused my services. WELL today I came by again this time with the same 2 dresses and a fur coat. The man accepted my clothes to get washed. You just don't know what to expect with their services.
