Mohawk Pest Control

We have no Idea why the lack of communication regarding service needs, the abrupt stop in communication, and the poor service quality. We were enrolled in the "gold package" and we were charged $200 and $49 every quarter automatically. When we were not serviced we were still automatically charged. Very unreliable and spiderwebs and other insects would still be very much present after services. We Hired Mohawk on thumbtack and when I reached most recently with my concerns it shows the company as no longer available. We were not able to get in contact with anyone and our card was still being charged for services we hadn't received. We had to go through the trouble of canceling our card and getting a new card.

I wish there was an option for a "0" rating, because these guys don't know how to return a phone call/text message. We had Felipe come to our house over the summer, he was friendly and took care of our ant problem. It's now past time for our next service and they haven't called or shown up to complete the work. I have tried every number I have found, several times. They are currently charging our card for services they are not doing and will not return my messages.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use them... now I have to go through the work of getting a new credit card to stop them from stealing our $. It's people like this that you stay away from.

So, not only did this guy Marty blow off an appointment for an inspection and estimate he had scheduled for Saturday, he blew us off AGAIN yesterday. My wife called to inquire about why it was a "no show" and the phone girl expressed bewilderment and told her that she would get in touch with Marty immediately and that she (my wife) would be hearing back from him shortly. Once again this fellow that everybody is raving about did not respond; and the phone girl who said she would call back never did!
Be forewarned that Marty is apparently NOT as wonderful as several people have stated. Perhaps he makes enough money that he doesn't care for the couple of thousand bucks more he COULD have (but now NEVER will) received from our job?
I'm just glad he showed his true colors before we spent any money. I feel lucky, like we dodged a bullet.

Marty is a fantastic pet control professional who really knew the best technique to solve our home ant problem. Before his treatment we would see constant lines of ants in every room of our home, but now for the past year ever since working with him, we have not seen one bug. His rates are reasonable and we have options as we aren't locked into a contract for service, but we plan on continuing to use his services for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!

Martin is the best! He explained to us why we had a rat inside and where they were coming from outside. He knew exactly how to catch them - he was able to catch our rat within a day! He also is thorough with his follow-ups. Highly recommend! Also, his prices are MUCH lower than his competition.

Great Service. highly recommend for any inside home bugs and outdoor bugs. i called and he returned my calls and knew how urgent I needed my yard sprayed for fleas from a stray cat hanging around my yard. also my home needed attention too. Mohawk helped solve my issue.

We had an appointment scheduled for my rental property and he Marty DIDNT SHOW. Then didnt respond to text messages after that. What a JOKE. Completely unprofessional. Never again.

We have an ant infestation issue at our home and requested quotes from multiple service companies through Yelp as well as direct. This company was the only one to respond with extensive information regarding the service and method they follow in working towards eradicating the ant issue.

We proceeded in hiring them and the gentleman who came over was extremely knowledgeable and educated us on the process. After the first visit we found more ants and he was very responsive. I highly recommend this company. We're very happy with their customer service and how they educate you on how to prevent reinfestation.

Starting in early September 2022, both Felipe and Marty stopped performing the scheduled services and mostly stopped responding to our calls and text messages. It is now mid-Oct 2022 and for the last 1.5 months we have had an ant infestation and Mohawk has been ghosting us. We have called and texted over 20 times in the last 1.5 months without any success. I suggest you look for a different pest control service.

My husband discovered a pest issue in our home and I called a few pest control businesses. Marty answered the phone and was at our home within 20-30 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend! We already recommended him to one of our neighbors!
