Checkers Pizza

Checkers is the best pizza I have had anywhere in the North. Actually, its the best I have had in BC. I'm no expert, but, I somehow have an addiction to their crust.

I highly recommend.

Was with a big group for a business lunch who ordered out, three different large pizzas. All three were good tasting, with quality ingredients. Delivery time was slow, especially considering it was not a peak time. Price was expensive but was business expense. Went for walk in on another occassion. Was prepared to wait 30 minutes and ordered a large pizza. Staff told us there were no large or small pizzas. Exactly how that is posdible if they make their own dough daily I'm not sure. We asked about wings instead, the staff said that was 40 minutes to 1.5 hour prep time. It seemed like our business wasnt wanted, so we left without ordering and walked to another pizza restaurant. Pizza is good but not worth the wait, cost and being made to feel stupid by staff.

If you want something different from the usual Pizzahut/Dominos etc. this is your place!

But service hasn't been that great
I've tried calling multiple times to place orders with no one answering their phone and left on the ring for minutes at a time and have tried again and again but nothing.

Good pizza but very expensive!! The wait time for delivery is an hour & a half!! Too long of a wait & too expensive!

The BEST Pizza in TOWN! Delivery is pretty fast, pizza is always delivered HOT! If your ever craving "Indian Tacos" but can't make fried bread? I highly recommend their Taco Pizza!!!!

Great pizza and other choices too. Try the garlic chicken, it's yummy. Especially good is their gluten free medium pizza. It's the best gf pizza crust I've ever had. Thin and crispy!!!

This place is great! Visited BC from San Francisco, CA last week. Owner delivered pizza to our cabin (cabin 1) and was very friendly. Best crust on a pizza I've had in a long time. Solid pizza, small business- wishing them luck!
