I always forget about this store, mostly because I do not find myself in this area often, but having visited recently, perhaps it was intuition telling me to stay away!

Upon entering the store, the smell is anything but welcoming. I can't recall any other pet store having such an unpleasant smell from the moment you enter the facility. The store itself also appears like it hasn't been maintained or remodeled in quite some time. If you encounter staff on the salesfloor, they will not acknowledge you in any way, either.

I had a gift card and came looking for dog treats. Unfortunately our pooch has some allergies so we look for limited ingredient treats, but there were very few options to choose from. After searching high and low and finding one thing, I headed to the checkout. The young man did not greet me, even after I said, "Hello" to him. He scanned my item and gave me my total. I asked him if I needed to slide the gift card or if he needed it. He response was to walk away from me, pick up a phone and call someone else to come up front. He then stood and waited with his arms folded until someone else came up and did something at a different register with the gift card in order for me to redeem it.

I wish I had redeemed the entire gift card so I wouldn't have to go back to this store to use the balance.

Never had a problem here. Don't understand all these bad reviews it's seems it's just people who don't know what they're looking for or how to use words.

We usually stop here to pick Purina's Pro Plan dry food for cats, and the Pro Plan wet food. They have a program where if you buy 10 of the 3.5lb or 6lb bags of food respectively, you can turn in the receipts for a free bag of food. Save those receipts, it can a $14 to $19 reward.

Pet World is a big warehouse but very well laid out. If you are into fish, they have a very nice selection. We are more into the feline type of pets, and look forward seeing if kittens are up for adoption with each visit. It has been hit or miss over the last several visits.

Pet World is a very clean and well laid out store. The prices are on point with the big box stores and the employees very helpful.

I feel this pet store deserves more credit than the reviews that are posted. I go to this store every week to get frozen and live rats for my Ball Pythons (I know what your response is to the live rats comment, but we had to switch or the snake would have died from starvation). Anyway, they have very young staff who, I assume, this is their first job or temporary job and at times don't always have the right answer to questions. However, I will say that everyone is always helpful, and once you figure out how their store runs, things run smoothly. They are always my first choice for all my pet needs, as I have a good variety. I've never had an issue with any Pet World Warehouse locations and enjoy taking the usual tour of the store with my 2 year old before making my purchase of the week.

Also, if they don't have what I'm looking for my second choice is Friends of Nature who I highly recommend as well.

They have no voicemail and the link to their website is nonexistent. So, there is no way to see their hours. Store itself is mediocre.

It suits my occasional needs. I've not had problems getting help when needed, nor have I never been greeted when entering. As another posted, their checkout area is "clunky" at times. I've had to check large bags of food out at the entrance side of the area and push the stuff around to the other side to leave. It's a warehouse and not fancy.

Good selection of supplies for pets but was super sad to find out they have bunnies they get from local breeders! Adopted a bunny from a shelter myself because they are in such huge supply there. The three biggest pet stores - PetCo, PetSmart and Pet Supplies Plus no longer sell bunnies because of this! PetWorld should be doing the same...

Walk into store planning to buy everything needed for new puppy but walked out empty handed. Not one employee greeted me nor asked if any assistance was needed. There were a group of employees all in the front of store talking and laughing in their on conversation. Won't waste my time tying to come back again.

Not so many good reviews, but my experience was great! Had my barky little chihuahua but they didn't have a problem with him. Store had what I've been looking for. Petco did not. I'm a happy camper!
