We stack decades of hands-on experience like playing cards to get our customers the right answer, the right part, right now because in our business real answers from real people are crucial. But we're not accountable to a corporate spreadsheet like our big-box competitors. We answer to the legacy of family businesses and to the towns and neighborhoods we grew up in. Bubba U.Tallahassee, FL0156Jun 19, 2021I agree with the other review Jared knows his stuff. I have bought many parts, Batteries, Tools and Fluids. One warning about buying stuff from them is you have to deal directly with Jared as the counter people get it wrong about 20% of the time. One of them are just plain hard to deal with and when you get within 5 foot of him you get knocked down by the stale cigarette smell. Do yourself a favor, if you stop by this parts store is to ask for Jared so you get the right part the first time! The reason I gave them only 3 stars is that ends up being the average. 5 stars when you deal with Jared and 1 star when you get helped by regular counter people.

I recently had a hybrid battery failure on my 2007 Prius. I deal exclusively with Bass Auto Care (on Capital Circle) and they handled the removal/reinstallation. I understand it's not for amateurs.
Several months after that replacement, the rebuilt battery failed. Thankfully, it was warranteed - but regrettably, I was vacationing in NC with the car at the time - and that was definitely a setback since finding a service station that was associated with the warrantee agreement plan needed to be found. Bass Auto received the battery through Liles Auto (CarQuest, actually) and naturally, that battery was manufactured by yet another company.
Jared from Liles Auto and Al from Bass Auto were instrumental in getting me back on the road relatively quickly from three states away.
Well - that 2nd battery failed again. Now, it was all hands on deck - and Jared as well as Al were determined to make things right. After calling in a lot of favors, they got me back on the road with a perfect hybrid battery pack - and were able to get my expenses from my delays reimbursed as well.
This all points to a commitment to their community, their customers, and their brand.
I can't say enough about the ethics and attention to detail this operation had in getting me back on the road.
