Pack N Move

I used pack and move this past year for a move within Visalia. The employees worked hard and got the job done fast.

I would never recommend this company!!
First off I do want to say the guys that moved us were amazing,, and extremely hardworking I even tipped all 3 of them $100 each, however my refrigerator was damaged in the move and some stuff was broke. I let them know about the damage and the company asked me to get an estimate. I've sent the estimate and was told it was sent to the owner and I followed up twice with no resolution. Not only did they damage my refrigerator but the owner over charged me which took me going back and forth to get resolved as well. It has been almost 2 months and still have not heard back from them. They should have insurance for these kind of issues. I would never recommend this company due to the owners negligence in not fixing my refrigerator. I didn't even ask for the other things that were broke to be fixed or replaced. I also waited to write a review to see if the owner was going to make this right.

They moved us from a one story apartment to a two story house in about six hours. Including disassembly and reassembled beds and are extremely courteous and professional. Im looking for them again right now

This is a 2 part review. 1 star for the owner, 5 star for the crew. We were quoted $800-900, the final bill was over $1400. When I spoke with Jake, I said I understood estimates were an educated guess but a $600 discrepancy is ridiculous. I said he may want to be a bit more realistic with his estimates because this isn't acceptable. His response was, "ok". We used this company last year and they were amazing. Since then, ownership has changed and Jake is not managing it well. The crew was awesome! Fast, friendly, courteous, professional.

We were moved by Pack N move in November, 2020. The crew on the first truck was very friendly, assured me they would "take care of everything, don't worry about anything". There was a different crew responsible for second truck load.
The next morning, after resting from the previous hectic day, we discovered there were deep scratches on the doors of our stainless steel refrigerator, a large chunk of veneer was gouged from the lid of the piano, and there were various scrapes on other pieces of furniture. But the ultimate shock was the crushed hood on our car which had to have been done by the second truck as it backed to leave.
Jake Moore, Pack N Move owner, is very difficult to contact. Phone calls can't be put through directly to him. He told us to obtain an estimate for refrigerator doors (no longer available) and an estimate for piano repair. He refused to accept responsibility for the damage done by his truck.
Reputable businesses carry insurance for accidents and take responsibility for damages done.

We had a really bad experience with this company. They were nice and worked quickly, but they were extremely careless in the handling of our boxes and furniture. When we moved into our new house, we were very disappointed to find nearly every piece of furniture with some kind of dent or scratch on it. The trailer was loosely packed and our things were completely disheveled - some boxes were badly crushed. The worst was that the movers threw all into one big box : a lamp (with the light bulb still in), a heavy banjo (which is now badly damaged), and several family portraits (which they apparently forgot to wrap and one now has a huge scratch across it).
Definitely do NOT recommend!

I've had a hard time getting responses from this company regarding the storage that I have in their possession before I move out of state. I need to make payments and I need to go and see my possessions but I'm not getting any response. The moving part from Hanford to Visalia has been wonderful. But I've been in the middle of a divorce process which has recently come to a close. CoriRona virus has Contributed to part of it but there's no reason to ghost me when I send messages. Very frustrated. At this point.

Had a great moving experience. Jake and his associate were prompt, worked quickly and got the job done with courtesy and respect. He helped me figure out how much space I needed for storage and was incredibly accurate give them a five star

We had an excellent experience moving Mom from Fresno to So Cal. The workers were fast, careful and hardworking. They did an excellent job packing. The following day the truck arrived in So Cal on time and was quickly unloaded by two very polite and competent young men. Both packing and moving were done with care and efficiency. I can recommend Pack N Move with confidence.

My grandparents used this company and the movers were amazing!!!! They were so personable, kind, and friendly. They did an amazing job and were so quick and efficient. They tried to put things were they wanted them to go. And consistently offered to help. It made the move go so smoothly.
