Here's the scoop! We've been following the Pennsylvania ice cream trail and this was an exceptional place located on a large dairy farm. The is a huge grocery store. I bought knish at the deli. There is a full restaurant. I think there is a buffet. There is a playground, animals to pet. Sunflowers to cut. And there's ice cream. Good variety of flavors. We each enjoyed a single dip. It was early. Not crowded. Plenty of room on the multilevel covered deck.

The ambiance of this place is great. They've got a whole playground for the kiddos! The staff was very friendly and nice! The ice cream was so sensational! I'm a plain Jane vanilla guy in a dish... but I love rainbow sprinkles! If I can't get rainbow sprinkles I'm not going lol! Like who doesn't like rainbow sprinkles. They even had cow sprinkles... I was very tempted but couldn't do it lol. I don't mess with cones... my lady does tho. My snack got cotton candy ice cream in cone! Her ice cream melted really quick because she's so hot...

The ice cream was good and and a good price. We were helped right away when we arrived around 8pm. They have a great slide and a walkway under the deck for kids to play. Also have goats that you can feed and ponies to watch. Bunch of rabbits and an always fun digging seat/mulch digging toy that my son loved. Large parking lot and plenty of room to move around. We spent around 45 minutes there with kids enjoying the little play area.

LOVE this place - very kid/family friendly
Huge playground for the kids along with goats and all types of animals around the facility for them to feed and interact with.
The ice cream is great and they have a wide variety of flavors as well as other desserts. There is a restaurant although we have not yet tried that.
If you walk down around the pond there are great spots for family pictures and we have also seen people fishing down there.
The kids always have a blast here so for that I give it 5 stars!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jason C.Newtown, PA0131May 26, 2022
Tried to get a milkshake for the second time. Way too much milk has ruined the milkshake again. It literally tasted like a glass of milk...I gave the Milkhouse this second chance but I'm disappointed again. I won't be back. For $5.29 it's a complete waste.

Located at Oregon Dairy, Milkhouse has the best ice cream around. Came with a group and we were all pleased with our choices, especially those of us who had cookie dough. If you're ever stopping to shop at Oregon Dairy, make sure ice cream is part of the trip.

My milkshake was amazing. My boy also enjoyed his cookie monster ice cream! Somehow this was the first and only time he ever had ice cream without making a mess too. Lucky for us because it was blue lol. I loved the outdoor area if only it wasn't freezing when we came.

My husband ordered six cones for our family. They gave us two of the kids cones, then gave the next six customers their icecream while we stood there for fifteen minutes. Three of those next customers receieved the wrong thing and had to complain. Two of the cones they gave us were the wrong kind of icecream. Finally my husband went back and asked where our last two cones were and they said they were out of those two kinds of ice cream so we picked other kinds. When my husband finally got his large cone, it was smaller than the kids' small cones. He asked if it was a large and they said yes. he went to the other window and asked a different worker if it looked like a large to her. She added more icecream but dumped the whole cone in a dish. We were laughing in disbelief by that point. But the icecream was deliscious and the cones were fresh and crunchy, so if you can put up with the terrible service, and possibly getting a very wrong sized cone, go for it.

Yesterday, I made my first stop on the Pa. Ice Cream Trail. I ordered a Coffee and Cream Cow, which is an ice cream float made with coffee poured over coffee ice cream. When it came out, I was disappointed that there was hardly any ice cream in it. The little bit of ice cream that was in it appeared to be scraped from the bottom of the carton, and the ice cream had a lot of ice crystals throughout it. The ice cream was not smooth and creamy at all. I felt the money I spent there was a waste. I am a local, and like supporting locally owned businesses, but this experience was a letdown. I will stick to getting my ice cream fix at the Udder Choice and Fox Meadows.
