Mignosi's Supermarket

So I literally did not even realize the first time I came here that it wasn't still 'Miggy's' and with the similar name I couldn't tell if it was some weird cheeky thing. In almost every way it is the same grocery store, except the employees are less friendly.

The only reason locals frequent this place is because pathmark closed, they have a great volume of business so the quality of the establishment his diminished.
The deli manager quit and now works at another local deli, that deli is disgusting, dirty.

Good meat department. Usually 2 to 3 registers opened. Nice place to make a quick stop for small grocery lists

This is probably one of the rudest markets I have been to and it starts with the ownership.. Prices are insane from the deli to the groceries.. The turnover ratio is amazing as they have new deli were every two months and the cashiers have a shelflife of about two months. The only individual I see there (and I would bet he is overworked and underpaid ) Is the nice Mexican guy who does all the portering and stocking of the shelves"..
My children even bought expired bags of potato chips there and when I went to return the bags I could not believe how many different brands they carry ‍ they have more of a selection on chips and snacks then ShopRite.. don't even attempt to buy coffee there because you don't know which are filled or how long they were laying there.. You have been given fair warning

Besides the fact that mignosi's is a dirty shit hole with a filthy cold cut department and mostly expired food, I went in there the other day for beer for a bbq and was refused service. I will be filing a complaint against them as I have a medical mask exemption which is clearly stated on their dumb sign they kept referring to. They kept trying to hand me a mask, I made it clear I can't wear a mask and have a medical exemption but they refused service. I hope they understand that one day the "mask mandate" will be lifted and they will have lost a customer for good! I was served elsewhere.

They make a decent loaf of bread and that's all. Dirty and pricey. Not a good combination.

Place is completely disrespectful, my mother was there tues, she asked a worker in one of aisles for help got attitude, ask someone at counter not register counter got attitude!! Seriously lucky I didn't take a bat to one of there heads disrespect a elderly person who only asked questions not like she asked for assistance on carrying something just basic questions got attitude. Screw that place I will make sure I stop there give Sam the owner piece of my mind.

Rotten attitudes by older workers there, I get it no everyone likes there job but no need to be rude and nasty, starting with old man with glasses behind counter..

Been going in this store for a real long time ,I have never had a problem with the staff or the owners .To me Mignosis is a beautiful environment I always feel as if I am at home .Very comfortable doing business there .May your business always do well

During these times with the pandemic, we rely on our neighborhood grocery stores. Yesterday I went to get fresh strawberry at Mignosies for my artistic son that loves strawberries and if you have a autistic child you know they don't eat much. Anyway upon opening there were molded strawberries in the pack I closed them and said I'll bring them back in the morning. Now make no mistake I relize that you can't take back certain products during this pandemic but brought them back today to show that there molded I was told they can't take them nor would I get my money back but I may purchase another one disgusting. Then i was told just because there white dosen't mean there bad In what f@cken world do you live in you eat it. I rather walk to FAMILY FRUIT from now on you will never get my business from here on in.

I'll take my business elsewhere, I'm sure the store can deal without the 200$ plus my family spends there every week....
I was told by the nasty jersey shore reject running the scratch offs that I can't buy them at 845 at night...
THEN I met her counterpart who obviously is new and was working the register, after slamming my soda on the counter, and closing the cash drawer with his groin along with his John Gotti attitude I'll make sure to go somewhere else from now on...
What a shame they can't hire decent employees during the summer with all the kids home from college
I'm surprised because the owners are rather nice, they made some hiring mistakes ...unfortunately that is what makes or breaks you !
