I'm shocked by all the 1 star reviews. I booked a gel manicure here to use up some class pass points I was about to lose. I was nervous they'd treat me differently from booking via class pass but boy was I wrong. When I came in and said I had an appointment the nail tech said my name and said it would be a couple minutes. In the meantime she offered me a mimosa or champagne. How could I refuse?! (I didn't and it was such a nice touch!) we then began the gel manicure which was up at a nail bar (fitting for the name!) and I was really happy w the gel mani. The stand out though was the people working there. I had Lisa who felt like I was talking to an old friend. The girl getting her nails done next to me clearly goes there often and the girl leaving when I arrived was discussing her dating story which I was bummed to have missed but apparently was straight out of a hallmark movie script. I digress but all this to say, the people working there were pleasant and fun to be around and I got a great looking manicure too. I look forward to going back!

Summary: Bad technique, bad attention to detail, bad machines, limited gel color choices.
Wish I hadn't even gotten service here--the WORST gel mani I've ever received. My nails were short but she filed them down so flat and square--terrible shape. The gel was uneven and was painted onto my cuticle. When she finished the top coat, she continued to file my nails down (which breaks the seal at the edge of the nail, and makes it more easy to peel off). Their UV machines was broken so the gel wasn't curing and subsequent layers messed up the paint.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy B.Philadelphia, PA14744386Oct 24, 2018
I came here on a Friday night to get a manicure, I came at the right time because it got busy after I left. The staff were all very helpful and friendly to me for the most part, the manicure went well, except that I felt that I couldn't relax because the kind nail technician seemed very nervous. 2 finger nails needed to be redone, and I insisted on that because otherwise they would have been fine with the redo job on my nails which didn't look right.
I do appreciate the free water and juice, the nail polish selection was rather limited and there weren't many choices. The polish color was very pretty and attractive. It was nice of the tech to try out polish colors on their nails to see what I liked. I was concerned with the digging into my cuticles. They definitely try to create a relaxing environment with 80s and 90s music playing, which was very refreshing instead of hip hop that was played at other salons. I would have appreciated a quick complimentary massage, even if only for a few minutes, which some places offer after a manicure. They have nail fans, not dryers.
After having a relaxing evening, some wine and juice, what was really upsetting is I got to cashier to pay and they won't let me put an $18 charge on my debit or credit card, yet no one said anything about this initially, fortunately I had some cash but I needed to withdraw more cash. They did reimburse me the service fee which I appreciate. That was the way that I left that evening, feeling upset and while I think that they are kind people, they have a very relaxing atmosphere, etc., after this issue with payment, I left thinking, how disappointing because I really was very pleased and liked them up until this point but I left frustrated. They are nice people, they do speak English, but to argue over a $2 discrepancy doesn't seem professional.
A few weeks later, I noticed my "long lasting polish" was chipping much more quickly than from other salons and my nails were starting to tear. I have been upset by this because this hasn't happened elsewhere so I think that for that reason, I may return to Naturale Salon, Lacquer Lounge or go elsewhere. I was hoping for a great experience here and while I did enjoy a lot of things here, I ultimately left disappointed.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Danielle M.Los Angeles, CA1438Dec 6, 2021
Never go there very very sloppy job, the internet says they close at 7 & I got there at 5pm & they said that I came to late to do a pedi & manicure lol. The workers are under experienced I had 3 different people work on my feet just because they couldn't perform the tasks I've asked from them. I disliked everything about this little shop & the girls

I've been to this place twice now. The women are very friendly but I'm sad to say the price of the acrylic manicure for the quality you get is ridiculous. They don't know how to do French. She just kept painting and painting polish for the French tip when I said it was completely uneven. Now half my nail is white and half my nail is the base color. It is close to double the price of any other nail salon in the area for a full set.
They offer you a mimosa when you walk in the door which is nice, but doesn't make up for them heightening prices for poor quality work. Highly recommend you take your money somewhere else. This place is not worth it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Pixie H.Philadelphia, PA021Dec 6, 2018
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Did I mention I'm in LOVE ! Wonderful experience! My nail technician was so helpful and fun to talk too. I had a glass of chardonnay while she worked her magic on my hands. Great prices !! 50 dollars for a fresh full
set and gel is incredible especially for the experience and having the choice of wine, mimosa, or champagne. I have finally found my permanent nail salon I am SO happy !!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashley C.Dallas, TX1290269669Jan 6, 2017
Checked this place out for the first time today after a string of bad experiences at other salons in the area. Here's my rundown:
PROS:
* Cheap! They have a spa pedi/mani deal for only $30! (No hidden charges like others do)
*Quick! I was the only one there at 11am (I'm sure it had something to do with the snow though) They took me right away and got to work on me. I love when both work on you at the same time because I hate sitting around just to get my fingernails done.
*Nice:) they offered me a drink when I came in. I wondered if they had Chardonnay but then I realized it was 11am and I don't want to be judged!
*Good work. My nails and toes looked great. Although, I only got a mani not fakes so I can't comment on any fake nail procedures.
CONS:
* Quick! Hey wait, that was a pro. Well, yes and no. Look, I understand I'm only paying $30 for a mani/pedi so I'm not expecting the red carpet. You will get a spa pedi, a nice massage chair, and good work, just don't expect to have any deep massage moments. Sure they'll tap your leg a couple times and lotion up your feet, they even rubbed a hot stone across it and the hot wax (or whatever that is) that felt amazing. But if you want more than a 2 min pat down, shell out some extra $$$.
I really don't have anything negative to say. I will be back here soon. I'm going to shell out a few more bucks for an extended foot and leg massage. And I don't care if it's 11am...I'm getting my Chardonnay next time:)Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0
