Advance Auto Parts

This is one of the worse auto parts customer service experiences I have had in the last decade. The morale of the staff seems to be a very significant issue.

As I walked in, I was immediately confronted by a counter discussion and a gentleman stating "they fired everybody again." There were three people working in sight// two stocking, and one working the counter (admitting that they had just fired people).

I was after a simple battery terminal, but after walking through every aisle of the store twice...I couldn't find it. Not one person acknowledged that I was there or offered assistance. Very strange. I asked the employee stocking the electrical aisle, and his comment was "I don't know." Well... I do know. I mistakingly stopped at this location out of convenience, and this is not the store for me. I hope the owners can provide the environment the employees need to thrive and be more engaged.

Really zero stars. Placed an order online for a muffler and received an email shortly thereafter notifying me the order was ready for pickup. Arrive at this store the next afternoon and after waiting around ten minutes they conclude they can't find where my order is. A muffler for an F150 is a pretty large thing to lose. Advised me to come back tomorrow or the next day after. No thanks. Not driving all the way across down again. I was willing to pay more and drive out of my way because they had what I needed today - at least the confirmation email that my order was ready led me to believe. If I'm going to wait, I'm ordering from an online competitor...free delivery to my house, in two days, for $30 less than Advance's price with a 20% off coupon. I had good experiences with Advance in the past, but nowadays it seems the service isn't as good and they don't carry the parts I need in stock - for an F150 - the best selling vehicle in America for decades.
