Crofutt & Smith Moving & Storage

We hired Crofutt and Smith in 2010 for our move, all went well (they broke quite a few items, but paid or repaired them) so we chose to use them again for a move in 2012. What a mistake. David was the salesman and he "underestimated" our job by 25% and it cost us an additional $2913.00. PLUS, they could not fit about 25% of our house so they had to send it on another truck....TWO weeks later. No compensation for being without our belongings, for being 2 weeks over the delivery date on our contract and for underestimating the cost by 25%! The movers , who are independent and hired by Atlas, told us the salespeople do this all of the time. We would never recommend this company because of their deceptive sales tactics and we highly recommend getting a second quote before signing a contract.

They have closed down and didn't notify current customers. I have a scheduled move now what. No one answers the phone or the door at the location. I heard via rumor mill they didn't even notify employees just threw them under the bus just like me the paying customer.
