What a delightful gem in the middle of no where. There were very few options in Downtown Duluth for an oat milk latte so I came across Mocha Moose in an extended search and it is worth the 20 minute drive!
The place is larger inside than it appears from the road but very charming inside. The staff was masked and they're minimizing the number of guests who can dine in.
I tried their S'more latte with oat milk and half sweetness which was perfect! Just the right amount of marshmallow and chocolatey goodness. My boyfriend went with an oat milk vanilla latte and it was also lovely.
We were still full from lunch so we kept our snacking to some of their chocolate covered espresso beans but the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Next time.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Powder W.Great Smoky Mountains26352884Sep 19, 2020Updated review
Can your day start out any better than this? T'would be hard! Mocha Moose is a great little healthy, healthful breakfast and lunch place.
Great fresh, locally sourced, super flavorful food. I had the salmon bagel that wasn't the usual paper thin slices but rather thick, flaky, chunks - the real deal! Delicious. Hubs had the fresh chicken salad wrap which was equally as tasty with cranberries and apple bits... yum!
We chose to sit outside in the sunflower garden and start our day with the colourful finches, chickadees and chipmunks. Seriously!
They even recycle and compost and have easy trays/bins set up for you when you're done. Great friendly, service just made this wonderful stop a solid 10/5!

Stop here have a great healthy lunch like we did and then you will feel so good about your choices, you can stop with a clear conscience (like we are going to) at Betty's Pies just down the road! Everything in balance, right? :p - May 23, 2021
Hubby and I need caffeine so we stopped here before heading south. The chai was wonderful. I deviated from my usual and got a Mayan Mocha. Asked if it was spicy and the person answered no not really. Holy cow, we're they wrong. Totally too spicy. Ended up dumping it out because that is all I could taste. Word to the wise...a little cayenne pepper goes a long ways. Next time, I will keep to my breve latte.

Perfect little coffee shop up the North Shore. Cute little place, organic goods made locally sometimes, & places to sit & hangout!

Hey! On your way up the north shore? Taking the scenic highway? This is a nice and quaint stop to kick back have a coffee drink, and perhaps something to eat.
The place has a nice homey feel to it with tables and chairs to hang out in or you can look over at that big puddle across the street for a while (Lake Superior). The walls are adorned with local artist works which are also for sale.
All the baked goods are homemade and fresh. I had a triple berry scone that just came out of the oven. It was so good that I actually went back and bought all of them so I could take them with us.
the coffee drinks are well made. One thing I really appreciated is that they are not swimming in flavoured syrup. The Mocha Moose, and the Cafe Miel are the tops here in my opinion.
Can't wait to visit this place again next year!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Larry K.Minneapolis, MN09Aug 28, 2022
A delightful coffee and breakfast breads destination. The owners and staff are friendly. The food is trash and fantastic. Local flavor and fabulous flavor.

Long line but worth the wait! The gal taking the orders was so pleasant and upbeat which was much appreciated. The maple latte was delicious!

Mocha moose was great! My husband and I have come up here every year since we got married and this is the first time we've stopped to get coffee here. The oatmeal and breakfast burrito were great and the coffee is amazing! I'm grateful they also offer oatmilk and almond milk as I'm lactose intolerant. Stop here if you have some time!

Wonderful little stop outside of Two Harbors - cozy and inviting. Would recommend the Maple Moose and Purple Rain (Earl Grey & Lavender). Both hit the spot!!
