I've been to many Wendy's ... and this was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had.
We were driving from FL to CT and stopped for dinner. I placed a mobile order for ASAP pick up while we were pumping gas. I went inside to get it and I waited THIRTY minutes for it. I've NEVER seen so many employees just stand around and do nothing. Instead of who I assume was the "supervisor" jumping in to help make food or do anything other than stand there ... she just kept talking about how she doesn't normally work evenings and she heard morning shift had a bus. The one gentleman making the food was the absolute rudest human being I've ever met who simply could not and would not multi task. They have a screen where you can see what orders are in que and 3 separate people who had already been waiting there had their orders deleted before they even made them. And then the "manager" couldn't figure out how to recall the orders and to be honest I'm not sure she could even read the screen. The waiting customers all started to get upset. An elderly gentleman who was HOH asked where his order was and the supervisor asked for his receipt .... They weren't giving out receipts ... they handed another man his food ice cold. The gentleman making the food wouldn't let the staff take any more orders until he finished the orders he had which was at a snail's pace.
I ordered a kids meal for my daughter with a plain cheeseburger as we were driving. It came with ketchup, onions and pickles. I ordered my husband and I double stack biggie bags ... sandwiches were supposed to have mayo, ketchup, onion and I paid for extra cheese. No onion. No extra slice of cheese (that I paid for) on either. Fries were cold. Spicy nuggets were fine.
In total despite placing a mobile order I waited over 30 minutes for the food. People were actually requesting refunds of their orders and cancelling them they were waiting so long. The drive thru wasn't even moving. I counted 6 employees behind the counter (I worked at a very busy Burger King in high school and college and 6 is a fantastic number to have back there so staffing cannot even be blamed - 1-2 on burgers/sandwiches, 1 on specialties/fries, 1 on drive thru, 1 on counter, 1 on dishes/cleaning) yet the service was horrid.
This was 445 on this last Friday 3/31/23.
The line was 7 people deep when I left. I told people if they didn't want to wait 45 minutes I suggested they leave ... and they did. Hopefully management sees this. You need a new crew ... stat!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alexandra P.Cedarville, OH43103Aug 20, 2023
Food was amazing!!! 3 stars because they were out of a lot of things - didn't have salads or choc/vanilla frosties (only strawberry) or pub buns for the pub burger. Each car would wait about 5-10 mins at the order station to order, but didn't wait long at the window to get their food. When it was our turn to order, they informed us that some staff hadn't shown up in the morning, so they didn't have certain foods made and they were scrambling. The staff we interacted with were incredibly kind, and I could tell they were all hustling to get orders finished. They seemed to be doing the best with what they had.

Restaurant and bathrooms had constant attention from "Q" and her coworkers. Simply amazed. It was like being in a 5 star Restaurant. Never seen this type of cleanliness & service in a fast food restaurant.

Waited at the drive thru for 15 mins at the order screen. Then proceeded to the window where two people saw us waiting and didn't speak or direct us in any way. Completely ignored us. Sad because we come here often and that was the worst experience ever.

Waited over 45 minutes in the drive through and there was only 4 cars ahead of me. I waited more than 15 minutes at the box just waiting for someone to take my order, they didn't take my order until after all of the cars in front me were given their orders and gone. All I wanted was a sandwich and a frosty, but when I finally got to give my order I was told that they had no frosty. 45+ minutes for 1 sandwich. Ridiculous! Chick-fil-A at rush hour would have been faster.

Horrible service !! And it's fast food . I waited inline for 15 minutes and still no one took my order so I left and not a care in the world from the employees

It was typical Wendy's but it was not dry you could tell it was freshly made . The party taste as if it had been seasoned and the bacon was really good on the bacon burger

The last time I went here 7 October and 14 October the drive thru was closed. I will try again tomorrow and if they still have the drive through closed I will report it as a no go for fast food.

Let me just say this is the first time i have ever used yelp for any kind of services. Let's y'all about this LINE!! It was ridiculous! But that was the least of my concern. Finally getting to the window the lady was so rude stating that we ordered a sweet tea when we ordered a soft drink. They had our food sitting out touching the counter (which i have no idea what has been on that counter) and we waited about 5 min. I've been to some crappy places in my life and i am not one to complain but that service was awful and i will never be going back there.

Stood at counter with nobody at register. Two employees in the back one made eye contact with me then walked into the back to have a loud personal conversation with co-worker. I finally just walked away and ate elsewhere. Unprofessional first impression.
