I found my experience with Carey homes very disappointing. The product they sold us was badly maintained. The word shopworn comes to mind. From the beginning they failed to live up to their promises. Make absolutely certain not to take the salespersons word on the obligations incurred by the owner/manager. When you get a contract read every line. I was sorry that I didn't have a lawyer check things over. In the end there were so many excuses and failed promises in addition to unexpected expenses that the original cost escalated by double digit percentages. Ultimately I withdrew from the purchase before it drained me dry.
