Tacos Del Julio - Airline

I have been looking for a place like this for a long time, they have the best trompo meat, it was so fresh it tasted like it just came out of the fire, they have Daily specials, the service was great, the environment was awesome, they were playing Mexican Music, the food was so good, it was similar to a home cooked meal.

I tried the tacos de trompo
The beef tacos
And their quesadillas
Beans, chips, the aguas were good , I had the tamarindo.

Looking forward to coming back in this corner of Airline

Food is authentic Mexican, not TexMex! Yay!! Around this area, it's really the only place I knew to go that would be good. The portions are great but, the torta was slacking in flavors a bit. It was a bit bland. The Monterrey style tacos (which the waitress called quesadillas) were really good as were the aguas frescas.
Service was friendly and fast and the place was clean and not loud.
We will be going again when we are in the area

5.5/10 the avocado on my enchiladas was black , the waitress was staring a lil bit to much from far this place is not as it used to be back then

The food here is fantastic during lunch time. The service is always prompt and the people are kind.

For some reason it was cash only this day or possibly every day. Chicken street tacos were good and something we have never tried.

This is a fantastic restaurant to eat at. The area is not as great. But don't let that stop you everybody around and in the restaurants are super friendly.

Ordered tacos de trompo, worst tacos I ever tried in my life. Terrible terrible, the tortillas tasted old, the meat full of fat and the seasoning very bitter

Absolutely amazing! They have agua de jamaica so I was already sold on that aspect and the food was quick, hot, and very very good! The service was fast and the staff was very nice! It has a very hole in the wall vibe, but it really was good! I'll definitely be back!

Great tacos! Staff was friendly and the wait time is not long at all, been coming here since I was young and will continue to come here!

Absolutely Love this place came here out of curiosity and was surprised to find the food was amazing! This is my go to for nachos now!
