Dr. Pineda took really good care of my shoulders and neck, I wasn't able to lift my hands straight above my head for about a year and a after a few visits she made the miracle.
Also I didn't have insurance and she was very flexible with affordable payments. I usually go there for adjustments and my body feels great.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vienna G.Scotts Valley, CA150262May 4, 2018
I found Dr. Pineda through a friend. I am a hairdresser and have issues with headaches and lower back.
Dr. Pineda is able to identify the issue and is very knowledgeable on how to deal with it and make suggestions on how I can help myself between visits.
I highly recommend her!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carole W.Santa Rosa, CA0286Dec 16, 2018
I was recently treated by Dr. Lavonne Pineda for my lower back/upper leg pain and swelling with great success. I found her adjustments and treatment protocol for lumbar, pelvic and leg pain very beneficial in relieving my debilitating symptoms. I've been suffering from post surgical lymphedema and severe muscle spasms in my legs that were compounded joint dysfunction in my lower back, hip and knee. My office job requires a lot of sitting and commuting further exacerbates my problems.
I'm grateful that Dr. Pineda was not only able to alleviate my symptoms but also explained the factors that were contributing to my condition and gave me tools, via stretching and breathing exercises, to help me facilitate my own healing actively. Dr. Pineda is a gifted adjuster, an excellent diagnostician and an intuitive clinician. I would recommend her practice enthusiastically.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amber L.San Jose, CA3476Jun 17, 2018
I started seeing Dr. Pineda in 2014. She has seen me through a car accident, two pregnancies, sick children, and treats me for neck and shoulder pain, TMJ issues, and headaches.
During my first pregnancy I had intense headaches from isssues with my TMJ as well as Symphysis pubis dysfunction and sciatica pain. Dr. Pineda was able to treat each issue and had me feeling much better within just a few visits. She has also been treating my two children since they were born. Her adjustments have tremendously helped my kids get through many ear infections. In addition, after my 2nd baby was born in 2017, she was having trouble nursing on the right side. I had a feeling it was due to her being uncomfortable on that side, so I took her to Dr. Pineda. Dr. Pineda adjusted her and sure enough, my she started nursing on that side with no problem immediately after we got home from the appointment.
Dr. Pineda is the utmost professional and will go out of her way to accommodate her patients! She's always available when my family needs her. She's kind and funny and a joy to be around. I thoroughly enjoy seeing her and highly recommend her!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ellen L.San Jose, CA031Apr 14, 2016
Dr. Pineda is a tremendously well-educated and knowledgeable chiropractor who has been in practice for a number of years. I had my first appointment with her yesterday and came back today to review the results of the x-rays taken yesterday.
Dr. Pineda had to take a few more x-rays today because she wanted to see more details. Note that there was no charge for these extra x-rays. I waited only a few minutes while the doctor checked out these new x-rays; she returned to the exam room and we began going over the results. Unlike the average patient seeking help for spinal and consequent pain and disability, I had studied human anatomy and physiology, but with the utmost patience Dr. Pineda took the time to explain everything - I learned new information that I'd not understood before. Her patience with my fairly constant interruptions with questions that arose in my mind might have been frustrating to her, but she didn't allow that to show. Instead, all my questions were answered calmly.
Between yesterday's appointment and my return today Dr. Pineda created a detailed three-month treatment program for me. I have no idea how she'd found the time to do that, because her practice is quite busy. She "adjusted", as the manipulations performed by the chiropractor are called, at least three other people while I was receiving some treatments. I was amazed that she'd come up with such a thorough plan in such a very short amount of time!
We began treatment today, with my spending time on the hydromassage table. Wow, did that feel great! I suffer from severe fibromyalgia, so not only did the hydromassage loosen my muscles and tendons so they might be more easily manipulated, but it also helped my muscle pain a great deal. I could have stayed on that table for days, that's how great it felt!
Dr. Pineda then adjusted my neck and upper back; I heard those cracking and other sounds as she did that, which used to frighten me when I had chiropractic treatment earlier in my life, but I'm over that. Dr. Pineda continued working down the spine until she felt that I was better balanced, that both sides of my body were equal in alignment.
I left the office feeling more hopeful than I have in ages that my neck, back, and hips can be fixed - of course, as I'm 65 and the misalignments have gone on for decades after the car accident that resulted in shoulder surgery and my developing fibromyalgia, there's only so much I can realistically expect in healing. But Dr. Pineda's skill, patience, and most importantly, her compassion and interpersonal method have given me much hope that I won't have to deal with the horrific pain in the future and may actually have an active and healthy life again. I'm quite grateful. Thank you, Dr. Lavonne Pineda!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - sam l.Cupertino, CA10110417Jul 22, 2017
Pineda chiropractic is the best. She knows so much about everything! I first came after a recommendation from a friend and then from my husband. Dr. Pineda was instrumental in my husbands recovery. I will always be grateful. I came in because I started getting headaches that came with a strange knot in my upper back. And I'm definitely on the road to recovery. I've been headache free almost since I started sessions with her. She's amazing! Worth every cent. Parking is pretty good too. Such a plus!

I write this review from the vacation I wouldn't have been able to take 2 weeks ago. I have had chronic back pain for 20 years due to a car accident. A month ago I pinched a nerve in my back because of this old injury. It cost me a week of work because I could not walk. We had planned a vacation that required much walking, that now,I couldn't do. A week in bed, 3 weeks on crutches and constant pain led me to Dr. P. All I can say is she is a miracle worker. With 10 days to go until my vacation I hobbled into Dr. P,s office. The task I presented her, get me walking pain free in less than 2 weeks. Man did she deliver. I am enjoying my family vacation, pain free thanks to her. She laid out a simple plan and even came in on her day off to see me. That's commitment to her patients.
She takes her time to explain to you the problem you have and her treatment plan. She has an excellent bedside manner and is easy to talk to. I can't recommend Dr. Pineda enough. She is awesome! Go see her now. You won't be disappointed. And if you're lucky, you'll get to meet Stella.
Thanks so much Dr. P!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gloria N.San Jose, CA50141Apr 27, 2011
I have had 24/7 pain in my feet for over five years. Three surgeries, lots of physical therapy, a gazillion dollars on shoe inserts. My feet hurt every morning even before I stood up.
I saw Dr Pineda on Monday and Tuesday morning I woke up and ... it was a miracle, no pain. Yes, feet can be adjusted. She addressed all my aches and pains which have hurt so badly for over five years. I have now had two days in a row without pain.
My life has really gotten waaaaay better thanks to the fabulous Dr Pineda. Go, run, drive, job, wheel over to see her tomorrow. You will not be sorry.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura B.San Jose, CA71269Oct 23, 2013
Dr. Pineda is great! I have never had chiropractic before but after a horrible back injury my brother told me to go see her. We took X rays and found out I had mild scoliosis and my hips were completely rotated in the wrong direction which was giving me a lot of back pain. After one adjustment, we had to take another X-Ray to see the severity of my hips and there was so much improvement after just one adjustment.
Shes really sweet, she spends her time with you so you understand everything that is going on. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cynthia K.San Jose, CA5631299Nov 15, 2010
She is hands down, the best I have ever been too. I have been to a lot.
