STAY AWAY. By all means necessary this establishment is whack. And their running a racket. The (assist) manager and I use those words loosely is a reject from "What's happening now". No class, no courtesy, no ppl skills. They will try to add on ridiculous extra chrgs. They remove your locks without your permission, and try to force you to pay for new ones. Melody the manager will never return your call. I guess that's cool since I hear she's just as rude. They run this place like its a jack leg home business. Even if you have to pay more it will be worth it. If you don't have to deal with rachet unethical ppl like these.

This is the worst storage in Vallejo! Please don't do business with this establishment. They have rate hikes every couple of months. They have a drop box, but if you use it they still will charge you a late charge & state they didn't get the payment. They are the WORST!

Let's begin with them my returning phones because they were too busy smoking in the back. But that's not even the half, they were going through sheds who they said were "delinquent" and cherry picking what they wanted for themselves and what they thought was good enough to sell.

I over heard this from my own storage unit.

They were also smoking in the units. So maybe if you come back and check on your belongings after a while and notice a discarded cigarette or you smell smoke, it was probably one of these dirt bags.

When I went to collect our storage, it doesn't surprise me a good portion of our valuables were missing.

Avoid this place. RUN FROM THIS PLACE!

They don't do good business and they shouldn't BE in business. One star because I don't have a choice.

Rarely do I write evaluations on companies however, this is the rudest storage company I have ever experienced. There is a manager there by the name of Melody and an assistant manager, who are the rudest people and their storage containers are full of varmints and feces. I would not recommend the storage facility to anyone who has any items of value if I could give it a minus one I would do so.

This place is infested with mice and rats, rodent waste all over my property in the storage unit. They have chewed through boxes and destroyed the contents.

However- they have no problem raising the rent yearly even for subpar service.

They should have notified the tenants of the rodent infestation.

Not recommending this facility
They charge you if you late in 10 days they charge you $15 and if you late late again another 10 days they charge you again for $15 so in one month equivalent for $30 ...
$158 for the rent $12 for insurance $30 for late fees so all in all you can force to pay $188,00 dollars in one month

Im not recommending the Central Self Storage in Ballejo

Our unit was broken into and was not notified till hours later. Apparently, the alarm went off but no one was on the property (except the thieves). The place is infested with rats. We lost a lot due to the problem.

THEIFS ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR RISK HAVING YOUR STUFF STOLEN & DAMAGED ! I got my storage unit in April . I just now moved it all out . I was late on payments so I think that led them to believe they could go inside my storage and take what ever they pleased . My FAVORITE Blue Michael Kors purse along with 2 of Michael Kors watches are missing . My Couch is destroyed . I packed my purses on top of my boxes of shoes in the back of the storage . My Couch was the very last thing placed in storage . And the storage requires you to have a look at the time of purchase. So when I get there my personal lock is cut off and replaced by their lock. My Ottoman was destroyed and placed in front of my couch . My purses were on the floor next to a box of my bathroom stuff spilled all over them underneath my couch with a pile of clothes on top of them . I NEVER placed ANY OPEN CLOTHES in storage . Everything was in boxes . And organized . My couch was the very LAST THING I put in ! My purses were in the same box as my shoes !! HOW DID ANYTHING GET IN FRONT OF MY COUCH ??? HOW DID MY PURSES AND CLOTHES END UP IN A COMPLETEY DIFFERET PLACE !! AND MY STUFF IS M I S S I N G !! OHHHH! On top of all this the manager who is a WOMEN by the way and LIVES on the property. She tried to tell me " well you didn't have a lock on your storage " ! Excuse me ! I found the lock INSIDE MY STORAGE UNDER MY COUCH ! I took pictures !!THIS IS NOT THE END .

We should have known something was amiss when we began getting double charged three years ago. No constructive communication occurred with Tanya, their representative during that period. Every month we would be alerted to the payment being late. Automatic payments from Wells Fargo ensued from the beginning of our lease back in 2013. And yet to this day we still get alerts.

About a month ago we decided to divest and simplify our life beginning with checking our belongings stored at Central Self Storage in Vallejo. We met our professional movers at the facility, unlocked the rollup door and were met with a funny odor. Our movers immediately knew it was the aroma of rodent urine. Though the facility appears clean, iron rodent traps appear around the facility. Believe me they go no good.

As we began to remove our boxes and furniture from the 10 x 30" locker it became clear rodents had infested everything. Our movers were reluctant to continue without masks and gloves which we went out and bought. First off, we had stored no food of any kind in the unit.
Our movers from LA we now were reminded had done an exemplary job of crating and securing everything. Only new boxes were used. So there was absolutely nothing in the unit to attract creatures of any kind other than landlords who knew (evidenced by the rodent traps all over the facility's exterior) that their clients were susceptible to infestation.

We found about half the new cardboard boxes with holes eaten thru them. Dead rats were found in at least two boxes. Some boxes were tossed without even looking inside due to the infestation. Rat poop was everywhere including in adhesive tape, on the floor, in furniture, even in some metal pieces. They use any fabric, rattan, cloths, string, cotton etc to use for nests.
We found some nests in boxes which had to be immediately thrown away. (Have you heard of Hanta Virus - transmitted by rats?) And the bacteria and disease laden belongings was untold.

And the personal impact on us has been devastating. And yet Central Self Storage shrugs this off as though they had nothing to do with the rats, mice and vermin. And lastly, our most precious piece of furniture, an exquisite folding bed which can turn into a veneered polished oak desk was so steeped in rodent urine we could nearly breath as it was unveiled at the back of the unit. Our movers, the most respected company in Napa, wouldn't put it on their truck to take only a few miles to the local dump. The stench was too overwhelming. It had to be left amidst the piles of black rat dung, shredded fabrics, furniture stuffing foam and mattress material.

Well those are the facts. We have scads of proof to substantiate these events for any of you who store with this "company." Be warned.

I FOUND RODENTS IN MY UNIT!! I'm not sure what's going to happen but 6000$ worth of furniture,TVs, and over 200 dvds destroyed . I'm not happy I've been with them ten months with a 10x6 unit. And I've been there maybe 6 times . Most recently 4 months ago. Well now I go today and it's infested and my boxes destroyed I don't even know about my furniture because I closed it called and left a voice mail for management. I just don't know what's going to happen now but I need to kill those things and take my stuff somewhere else
