Yes, Lucy's does a wonderful job providing flowers for weddings and parties, but equally the perfect choice if you need just one absolutely fabulous bouquet to brighten someone's day!

As soon as you walk into the shop, you can see the artistic flair and unique style in the displays and decide of the store so you know the flower choices and arrangements will also be unique. Bouquets are customized based on the colors, scents and style you seek.

Located right on Oak, I often stop in just to marvel at the lovely flowers while shopping downtown Hood River.

Lucy was our wedding florist and did an absolutely brilliant job picking local fresh flowers that fit our color palette and requests. She listened to requests (even as they changed), and then constructed beautiful bouquets for myself, my best lady, as well as table arrangements. She timed multiple drop offs during the day to prevent the flowers from wilting as well. Her arrangements are gorgeous and I definitely recommend her for any event.

Terrible, rude, unprofessional. Called my family member an idiot while she thought we couldn't hear. Pretty disgusting behavior. Looking forward to seeing her go out business, we don't need people like her in our community.

Lucy did an absolutely incredible job on our flowers. I had to plan from out of state and I work full time so the actual process of ordering flowers was a little nerve wracking for me since I'd never done it. Also, I had dreams of DIYing flowers to save money but due to the other factors already stated, it just wasn't realistic. Lucy was extremely patient with me and my questions but the topper was the day of when I got to the farm and saw all of the flowers. They were so incredibly gorgeous and perfect. Far better than I could have hoped for. All of my bridesmaids were floored with their bouquets and my elderly aunts who I had as flower "girls" adored their tasteful flower crowns. Lucy even went way above and beyond and put these flowers in front of our welcome sign without my asking.

If you have doubts or you're worried about what you'll get from Lucy, save yourself the time and energy. You're in great hands!!! Thank you Lucy!

I have loved the beautiful arrangements I've seen Lucy create at my Hood River wedding venue. Gorgeous flowers, casual vibe, they have all been really perfect. And I'm really picky about my flowers after working for a florist for most of my adult life. I would highly recommend flowers by Lucy for delivery or for your special event, or go pick up something for yourself in her cute shop.

When I got married I was recommended to go thru Lucy's Informal Flowers. I liked the place when I went in to see for myself and enjoyed the personal help I got with my arrangements. My wedding day came and everything seemed to be coming together perfectly until I was informed by the wait staff that I didn't have any decorations for my tables. I knew we had talked about what they would be so I couldn't understand what happen. Well turns out I had overlooked my final order and not realized they were not included on it. There was nothing I could do because I was about to walk down the aisle! Amazingly.. Lucy's Informal Flowers ran back to their store and got flowers for each of my tables!!! I couldn't believe it! I hadn't asked them to do that.. they just did. And beyond that.. they would not take any more money from me when I offered and insisted to pay for them. I don't have the words to explain how much that meant to me!. It is true that actions speak louder that words.. I think this story tells it all!

Lucy did a wonderful job handing all things floral for my wedding weekend in Hood River-- we kept her quite busy between a bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner and a big day with an arch she decorated. I was planning the wedding from out of town and Lucy really took the time to hear my feedback via email, phone calls and lots of Pinterest photos such that even though we never met. she flawlessly executed the look I was going for. Highly recommend Lucy to anyone getting married in the area!

Our first meeting with Lucy to discuss the flowers for our son and his beautiful bride's wedding was an absolute delight. Lucy was helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable, and extremely patient.

She suggested many ways for us to participate in order to keep the cost down and still have a perfectly beautiful wedding. Our every expectation was met during our time with her.

The wedding flowers were spectacular and truly reflected her talents. By the time the wedding was over, we felt we had found a new friend.

I would shop around before using this vender. During our initial meeting she marketed herself as an artist who had a gift for color and presentation. She showed me beautiful pics and examples of what she would do but what was actually presented was very disappointing.

Some of her flowers were adequate i.e. the bridesmaids bouquets were well worth the money at $30.00 each. The corsages for the grandmothers were cheap with 2 small mums for $30.00 each. I was a tad embarrassed presenting them.

The flowers for the table were wilted by the time the wedding took place at 5PM in the evening. Each bowl had a few flowers and many buds that were drooping. They did not reflect the color scheme we had discussed ( summer citrus colors with lots of peach.) They were dead by the time the party ended. Granted it was an extremely hot day but, I picked dahlias for the wedding ceremony the day before the wedding, and they were beautiful, alive and perky for the celebration and beyond.

Lucy is absolutely incredible. She did all of the flowers for my wedding at Gorge Crest Vineyards right near Hood River. She listened to what I wanted and the bouquets she made for the big day surpassed every expectation. She was also very conscious and respectful of our budget, which was greatly appreciated. Everything she touched was absolutely stunning. I would recommend her for all of your floral needs!
