Farmers Insurance - Jonathan Olson

Jon is easy to work with and always very helpful. He helped us get a rental property insurance policy tailored for our special needs. I would recommend Farmers and Jon to anyone who needs an insurance.

Jon Olson is a pretty awesome insurance agent. I was a happy State Farm client for many years. About 8 years ago, I bought a house in Roeland Park and my agent wouldn't insure the house because the roof had 2 layers. My realtor referred me to Jon, and he got me all set up with a good policy and reasonable rate (despite my double roof layer).

I've had a couple claims and Jon and his office team have been extremely helpful, pleasant, quick to respond...all the good things you would want from your insurance company. He makes sure you have the proper discounts that you are eligible for, even recommending things I didn't even know I would qualify for/existed.

When I think of insurance, it seems kind of boring and dull, but Jon sends fun newsletters, facebook contests, birthday cards, calendars, and informative advice. He is always available to answer questions or help you figure out your current insurance needs. Unfortunately, I will have to switch my auto insurance when I move to Colorado because Jon is licensed in Missouri and Kansas only.

I can solidly recommend Jon Olson, Farmer's Insurance. Especially give him a call if you have a need that your current company can't cover; he's creative and has good resources to help you out.

Jon is an honest agent. I recently moved from California to Kansas City and my current policy was with Farmers in CA. Jon told me my premium would be a little bit higher due to the lack of the proof of residence in Missouri. I was glad the agent could be that honest, not just pushing me to buy their insurance. I finally switched to the other company which provided lower price. Would consider switch back to Farmers since I felt Jon was pretty professional agent.

Jon, you have always been great to work with through as my life's insurance needs changed. Now, I've got to experience your back office--meaning, I was in an auto accident and my car was totaled by another driver who T-boned me. I have been so impressed with your claims process they have been on it! They had a claims check in the mail to me in one week. I knew of Jon, and his reputation from others, so when my Farmer's insurance agent retired, they wanted to give my account to someone else, but I insisted they move me to Jon Olson. I have never regretted it. In my 54 years, I've never had an agent more responsive, involved, informative and honest. When my daughter had an accident, he answered my call during his vacation. He found where I could save money and get better coverage by making a couple of minor policy changes. He's never once failed to return a call the same day. He is absolutely everything you want in an insurance agent, and a nice guy, too.
