Todd Davis Drywall

We had electrical work done throughout our home. There were many patches needed and texture needed. The mud was not sanded well and very elevated off the drywall. The texture did not match! We had the crews come back three times for fixes and we are now three weeks behind schedule due to Todd Davis and crew. We are fixing poor mud work and texture work ourselves. This was not worth the money, or the time. We had to check over their work so many times and ask them to inspect everything and still multiple areas in each room were missed. They were also very sloppy throughout the house. We had to clean texture off carpet (that we had plastic off to begin with) and off molding and doors. The lead seemed like he was on Speed. Todd is all talk and no results. Completely unprofessional. We have Called him to talk over our needs and he doesn't respond. Do not use this company!!!

My first NO STARS review (had to add 1 star or it wouldn't let me post).
Contacted Todd initially on Aug. 21 for a drywall repair in my living area. Sent him 2 pictures; 1 of entire area needing repair, the second of wall texture and cut edge of drywall. Same day(Tues), he gave me quote (bit on the high side) and said he would be able to complete the following week. He said he would get back to me on timing after checking his schedule. Just a day shy of a week later (Mon 8/27) I get a text that he can come by Thursday and he will get back to me on what time on Thurs (8/30). The next day (Tues 8/28) he sends me another text saying he will be by at 2pm. I agree to timing as well. The next text I receive is Weds (8/29) asking for a better picture of one of the photos I had already sent. Stating, "I didn't see that one until now". Didn't see the photo or didn't look for over a week? I then send Todd a video of the repair guaranteeing he sees all that is needed. He then asks if there are 2 holes in the wall. The picture very clearly shows a single L-shaped hole. Definitely lacking the attention to detail part. I again send him original photo showing single hole. Which brings us to today (Thurs 8/30), originally scheduled for 2pm, I get a text at 10:30 letting me know that he could possibly be there before 2pm. I share address and let Todd know that 11:30/12 works just fine. At 11:07am, just 23 minutes prior to him supposedly showing up to complete job, I get a text that he is going to have to cancel, "Hate to say it. But ive got to cancel today. Got to go out of town to finish a job. Guy who was supposed to make it can't make it. My deadline is today. Sorry for the delay." Needless to say, he called and tried to make the expected excuses for such unprofessional behavior. I blew up, did some cursing and told him to expect a review such as this. I would never recommend using Todd Davis for any of your home repairs and actually would be happy to help you find a much better, higher quality, and more professional drywall repairman/woman.
