Elixir Mind Body Massage

I booked a lavender steam massage and sauna session at this place a couple months ago. Two weeks before my appointment, they called to tell me that my masseuse was not trained in the lavender steam massage, so they switched my massage to a hot stone with lavender lotion And then comped my sauna session. I was okay with this since the price was about $40-50 cheaper. The ambience of this place was very relaxing, inviting, and comfortable. I was early to my appointment, and they allowed me to spend more time in the sauna than what was nice. I will say, however, I have been to many infrared saunas, and I barely sweat this one so that was a little disappointing. Sara was my masseuse who did a fabulous job making me feel relaxed and listens to exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend her as your masseuse. I also bought a lavender essential oil prior to leaving. It was a great experience overall.

This was our first time trying out Elixir and they did not disappoint! I purchased the romance retreat package for my husband's birthday that included a couples massage and foot and hand reflexology. Our massage therapists, Nathan and Camille were absolutely amazing. They were professional, super nice, and I could tell that they really paid attention and catered to our massage needs. Parking is the only thing that is very difficult so if you don't want to ruin your calm vibes after your treatment, I'd suggest just taking an Uber.

Four stars because of the location downtown with difficult street parking and the lack of spa amenities but otherwise the experience was great. Nana was a great masseuse who really listened to my needs and worked on my problem areas. She was exceptional! The process was smooth from the start including adding the 15 minutes extra massage time through yelp check-in. I do wish there were spa amenities like a relaxing places to sit pre/post massage/facial since I always like a moment of calm during these times. I'd recommend if you live in the area! Give at least 15 minutes to find street parking.

First off, at least $100 missing from paycheck every month due to concierge stealing the tips. They pressure everyone into tipping, and then steal the tips, claiming that many people don't tip. They even installed a camera in the front, but still can't catch stealing, because the owner pay the front desk so little, stealing is part of the deal. Second off, no free parking, so unless you live in Denver and can uber, it's $10 a day for parking. Third off, very demanding performance reviews, requiring you to upsell massage oil, which is so cheap of the business, or sell other overpriced things, or retain clients, when most are in there because everywhere else is booked. They charge much more than other spas, but pay you very very little. Fourth, the clients are all snobs. I give great massages and have never had any compliants elsewhere (or maybe I have, but the management elsewhere don't tell me nor do they fire me lol). Here, constant complaints over pressure, clients talking down to me, clients acting like I hurt them by rubbing their neck and shrugging their shoulder as if from pain. Wow, I sound like such a horrible therapist, but it's all an act bc they are long term clients who demand catering to, and when not catered to, they make up stuff to hurt me. The owner encourages this behavior by telling clients to give her a chance, she is new at all this. If this owner sounds evil, that's because she is. Fifth of all, getting yelled at for everything. Talking, yelled at, forgot something, yelled at, laundry get messed up, yelled at. There is seniority, so many old-timers are condescending. I even got yelled at for setting my table a certain way.

Went in for reflexology and was the absolute worst experience. She guided me to the room and left to "gather things needed". Came back 6 minutes later. It was 5:38. Keep in mind I'm paying for a 30 minute massage! She starts barely touching my foot.. about 5 minutes later decides to finally use oil. The whole time I felt like a child was playing around with my foot. I told her I'd like for her to go deeper which by that time she was moving to the next foot. That foot was slightly better but at times felt like she was just tapping around. My massage was over at 6:00 on the dot. So I lost 8 minutes on a 30 minute massage. I was on time for my appt! Also, she didn't wipe the oil from my feet or even offer a towel. Told the front desk about my experience, she phoned the manager which told her to give me a 25% discount. That was not even close to being a resolution. Worst experience in a spa EVER! Total waste of time!!

Visited Denver for the weekend and was originally scheduled for a massage but also got an express facial. Hands down one of the best massage and facials I've ever gotten. And the staff was extremely pleasant. Everyone that I encountered here were super friendly. If I lived in Denver, this would've definitely been my monthly go to place!

My sister got my wife and I a couple massage years ago at this place. They are not very flexible. They count every f''cking minute with you. The moment they called our names, they already counted the minutes. Do to our busy schedule, we could not find a baby sitter so we brought our son at the time so when we got in the room, we had to find a place for him to sit and put our stuff down. Those minutes count also. So, a 45 mins massage turned out to be like 25-30 mins. When we walked out, they asked us if we want to come back, we said no. I never reviewed them. Over the years, they sent us messages, etc. But I just delete them and I never even thought of it.

However, unlucky for them that they texted me today on a Holiday weekend with my sister in town (with unwanted solicitation). This brought back flash back how they treated us. And so here is the review.

I recently moved out of state for work and I am having the hardest time finding a good esthetician because Alyson was so spectacular. She is so sweet and down to earth, and she makes you feel comfortable and understood. She is a fountain of knowledge and I always appreciated her product recommendations because I got results. I feel like I was spoiled and might have to start flying back to Denver to see her! If you are in the Denver area and you are looking for a true professional, book a facial with Alyson at Elixir. The spa itself is quite cozy and inviting, and I always felt well greeted by the front desk, but most importantly, the service is exceptional.

Last Saturday I made a 5K Mud Race which was really heavy on the upper body. The next day, Sunday morning, my neck was killing me (seriously) so I tried to find a massage for the same day in different places. I sent an email to Elixir Massage at around 8 am and they replied me really fast for an appointment for the same day. I finally called them and I scheduled a quick 15 minutes chair massage with Tristan.

I had gone to massage therapists a few times but Tristan was the best so far. After the quick 15 minutes massage, I gained back more mobility on my neck and my muscles were feeling better. I was so satisfied that I rebooked for next week. He is quite booked but they have more than 10 massage therapists.

What a sweet surprise ! Took my boyfriend and I there to enjoy a Sunday afternoon together to celebrate our anniversary. Tobie took the appointment and was so pleasant to speak with. Cheyenne Gave me one of the best massage I've ever had. Jamie was delightful and checked us in and out smoothly. Thank you for a wonderful day of relaxation.
