This is my 2nd time here. I swear the pork chops just keep getting better and better. I'm so hooked on them...I just can't try anything else! They are juicy, cooked to perfection....very seasoned...nice plump 2 pore chops! This is my favorite restaurant in the Jersey area. The service is always phenomenal! The ambiance is beautiful. They even have a night club on the other side to dance the night away! I highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a great place to dine alone or with friends and family and good food!!

It seemed like a scene out of a low rated action film. Tuxedoed wait staff asking if we wanted to take the elevator. Elevator to where? To meet whom? My goodness the place is empty ... EMPTY .. and it is a Sunday at 1pm. They glared at us ... were they packing? No ... absolutely not. We are not going to take your elevator.
Sundays at 1pm used to be a difficult to find a seat on Sunday's at Adelphia but now the place is vacant (With good reason) ...
We worked our way to the front of the house amidst a collection of empty tables and noticed right away that the display case that once was filled with tempting cakes and pastries was EMPTY just like the Adelphia. This is obviously no longer a diner (No cakes nor pies nor baked goods in the display case, which is clearly a warning sign!) ... and to think on a Sunday we want breakfast... we even drove past three diners because we had decided to come here.
And, then before seating us the host needed my cell number. Why the heck do you need my cell number? Is the FBI tracing all calls being made today? You won't have to text me when we can be seated because the place is EMPTY ... it is ONE O'CLOCK on a Sunday afternoon and all we want/need is breakfast AND COFFEE. So, I gave her my number ... and no she didn't wink knowingly back at me.
We are taken away from the primary dining area where 80% or more of the tables are empty tables past the dance floor back towards that suspicious elevator with its "guards" to a table a few feet away the bar ... We don't want to sit and have breakfast next to the bar within a short hip hop from the already lit dance floor because we just want BREAKFAST!
Clearly VACANCY is the name of the game and a warning to all who might done here.
And, before leaving us in the bar area at our table she casually mentioned that they don't serve breakfast after 1pm. HECK what food are you serving on a Sunday at 1pm when many people still want breakfast/brunch? Before the shock wore off another staff member arrived with a bread basket ... but we turned and headed out the door wondering whether those rolls would be served to the next group coming in for breakfast and finding the disaster we discovered.
The good news ... we did a YELP search and discovered 5 minutes away an incredible diner serving breakfast and coffee like good diners should be doing.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 3 - Frank D.NV, NV04Apr 15, 2024
Service is the absolute worst. Stay away. Took them 20 minutes to get us water and bread.

Third time here first time with my family second time I took my husband food and Service was good. Had two female waitresses I must say excellent service!!!
Today March 30 . I went shopping. Decided to stop in for lunch. Made reservations seated promptly. Ended up with this server, Harry W name on my receipt. We ordered garlic wings as an appetizer.
I ordered pastrami sandwich, with my sandwich came soup, my husband had a pizza. To our surprise waiter not friendly ice cold but way over friendly with the other two tables, you would've thought he knew us, and that we had stole something from him, how he was answering and his body actions. He brought out bread and my soup. But.. then here comes all the food when we asked about the wings mind you $16.00 wings, he snap real quick said "they take forever" and walked away
So while we eating here comes all these wings.
Whole demeanor from him to me seemed ice cold, I completely loss my appetite! when I know what good service is and coming from a family where my in law is a retired waitress, i know how to tip, I know the do and don'ts
Very well. I am telling adelphia Harry W service sucked and he needs to get that together, his outward favoritism shows if you know what I mean! So, when you think people not going to tip you, you don't get a tip!! Do better!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Heather H.DE, DE011Sep 17, 2023
I am at a family event having a great time, I just so walk into a man who claims to be management and ask for a box to go because I barely touched my food. This very rude manager looked me dead in my face and told me no to just throw it away, he doesn't know if I have health conditions or if it was gonna be my last meal of the day( at the end of the day we are dealing with this crazy inflation)
He claimed because I was in a private event I wasn't allowed to have a box for my food when my family paid A LOT of money for this shitty event. You gotta figure they spent 100$ of dollars on the food it's already paid for and this asshole could have just gave me a box. All the striving people in world. I will never ever attend another event at this horrible place.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 26, 2022
I love everything about this place. It is basically upscale dinner with everything you can possibly want on the menu, at the bar and for for the party! There are a lot of daily specials and moderately priced entrée items.
The outside decor reminds you of a large Italian or Greek structure. Inside is nicely decorated inviting nice floors nice furniture all around nice set up. There are several places set up for dining and separate rooms for special events, catered or just room rental. For parties they have during the week with live bands and famous DJs there is a large dance floor.
One of my favorite items on the menu a appetizer of lamb lollipops they are a must! The special I chose on this day was a porterhouse steak 16 ounce with a very large baked potato, I paid an extra two dollars for asparagus it was all well worth it.
If you want to go to a place with nice ambience, hassle free good food for a good price Adelphi is the place for you. And the parties are for all ages..Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Jan 30, 2023Updated review
Celebrated a friends birthday here on a Friday night. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
I ordered the chicken parm which was enough food to take some home. The food was tasty and came out pretty quick. I also ordered a side Caesar salad that came with no croutons and was watery.
The drinks were outrageously priced and the first few drinks were watered down.
We decided to go to the lounge area which charged $20 (the cost was going to donations for a family in need). The music playing was freestyle and the place was packed.
Overall a decent night but the pricing was way to high.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 1, 2022Previous reviewI had a happy hour date with a few friends here. We arrived at 5:20p. (Happy hour food is Until 6p and drinks are until 7p). We sat at the bar. This was my first time here and overall the experience was good.
I ordered the Tito's lemonade and it was delicious ($10 for a glass). I ordered the meatball sliders ($9) and they were worth every penny. The sliders were shareable and tasty (I did add a pinch of salt and pepper). I also had the Buffalo chicken dip which I would go to just eat by it's self ($10).
Good experience; not necessarily happy hour budget friendly but the food and drinks were good. - John C.Egg Harbor Township, NJ52131Oct 2, 2023

My friend & myself went there for brunch. I was waiting for my friend to arrive so I got a table & we had Abdul as our waiter. My friend arrives & before we looked at the menu , he said do you want to order, we said one more minute, then he kept walking past , giving me nasty looks like we were taking too long.
He said you better hurry or you won't get the brunch specials, we said let's order, I got a omelette that was ok , my friend got the cheesecake, while we were eating he kept walking past & I could see he looked mad .
Horrible customer service, I shouldn't have tipped him 20%. His service was a jokeHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1
