      I love the environment, when I first came in, I was concerned about my experience and level of capacity, however, coach RJ always has a scalable option for beginners and experts, plus some of the members are kind and patient enough to help.

      I had an ankle injury late last year, yet coach RJ was thoughtful enough to add some therapeutic movements to his regimen to help speed up my recovery.

      First time joining a training facility like HIT FIT SF The trainers are always so motivating, knowledgeable and encouraging. I recently got a membership back in March and was a little nervous because it was all so new to me. Overall have been having a great experience the workouts there are tough but rewarding and most importantly the instructors care about not only getting you to sweat, but also making sure you are staying safe (I probably would've hurt myself by now if it wasn't for them LOL). Definitely recommend and encourage everyone to try it out, you won't be disappointed.
      Thank you to Cole, Hank, Wayne, Diana, Carlos and the many others I've yet to take a class with looking forward to many more sessions!!

      I take HIIT classes here - all the instructors (Angela, Wayne, Carlos) are good. They care about your posture and will give you personal attention if needed. Also took the beginner boxing class with RJ and that was a lot of fun too!

      Great workout (40 minutes with Angela) I must have burned 400 plus calories It was a difficult workout and high intensity but I really enjoyed it - weights, planks, squats, and other exercises. I do need to do some hi intensity workouts and this fit the bill.

      This is one of the only places that really kicks my butt! I love taking Nia and Angela's classes - they fill up quick, so sometimes you have to sign up a week in advance.

      I'd say that no matter your fitness level, their classes can always be challenging because it's about how much you push yourself each time. And the hiit circuits are different each time, so you won't get bored.

      I'm glad to have discovered them through Groupon, which is totally a steal by the way. If their monthly membership was cheaper, I'd totally sign up for a membership :3

      Tip: if you plan on taking boxing classes, BRING YOUR OWN BOXING GLOVES. I borrowed their boxing gloves just once for beginners class and I had to wash my hands literally 100 times in one day because of the lingering smell from the boxing gloves. The smell went away after 14 hours and many many hand washes and showers and scrubbing.

      My friend told me to join her for this HIT class, so I did. I workout once or twice a week, so it wasn't 10/10 intense, but if you don't workout regularly, this will kick your butt... in a good way.

      This gym is available on Classpass. It was 7 credits for me, and I signed up for the 12-1 pm class with Wayne.

      Class:
      -You bring yourself. It incorporates body weight, cardio, weights, and a little bike action
      - Class started with running in place, and other in place cardio
      -Second was TRX: chest presses, squats, etc
      - Third was a circuit exercise with bikes, weights, kettlebells, running, and body weight exercises

      I broke a good sweat here, and I loved it.

      TL;DR
      Nothing will get you into shape faster than these classes. If you workout to look good, these are the classes for you. If you need a cross training option, these will round out your fitness regimen and make you stronger.

      Over the last 6 years, I've been an SF Fitness and Equinox member, regimentally attended Barry's and Soul Cycle, and have owned a Peloton and none of these options have been remotely as effective as HIT Fit SF classes in building my strength, endurance, and overall physical health.

      I play beach volleyball and was struggling to get my game to the next level. Between work/ work travel, I struggle with consistency and staying strong enough to play tournaments. I started attending HIT SF classes again about 5 months ago and have noticed a massive difference in my strength/ endurance.

      I typically take Carlos's and Wayne's classes depending on my schedule. 2-3 weeks of Wayne's classes get me into shape insanely quick. The community within the class is great, too. Everyone attends for different reason and it's a really supportive environment. Couldn't be more pleased and surprised with my progress over the last several months.

      How lucky we are to have such a fab place to work out - i love the mornjng/evening quickies both 7.30am & 12.10pm with Angela & Cole. Perfect to just pump out and get a great work-out!

      I joined this gym just as outdoor exercise classes were starting up last fall and it was a great decision! Our coach, Angela, would drive all the workout equipment to Jackson Park for an awesome workout on the blacktop that I can honestly say was incredibly challenging and rewarding. She didn't take it easy on any of us, but was supportive every step of the way. Angela took the time to get to know each of us, which definitely helped me feel accountable to show up every day! When things moved back to the gym (outside, at first!) it was just as great of a workout, with the extra benefit of more equipment. Since moving outside of the Mission, I haven't gone back as much as I'd like, but if you're in the area, definitely take advantage of Angela's boot camps!
