Me to choose just the right matting and frame. I was promised a three week turnaround and it was done in a week and a half. I will definitely return for my next project.

(Disclaimer: When I visited Art Frame Wholesale (AFW), I was sloppily dressed in flip flops, t-shirt, & shorts made of jersey material - So, I was looking somewhat "less fortunate.") I based my decision to visit AFW solely on the positive Yelp* reviews, and I was sure after reading the reviews I would be satisfied with AFW. Annnd... I aaammm, BUT...

It was shortly before Christmas when I took my Alamo print in for custom framing and, as one might expect, AFW was pretty busy. As that was the case, I patiently waited... and waited... and waited. After about twenty minutes of waiting, I positioned myself directly in front of the young lady at the counter. The young lady finally looked up at me and asked if I needed assistance... In short, I became so frustrated at the young Lady's apparent cluelessness to my having been standing nearly in front of her for twenty minutes, I expressed my frustration for the long wait and left.

It took a couple of days for me to regain a willingness to give AFW another chance to earn my business. After all, there were such sterling Yelp* reviews of the place.

When I did return to AFW, I dealt solely with Tone, who did show a very sincere interest in me as a customer. Tone took time to try and find the perfect combinations of frame, mats, glass, etc. to make my print unique and to my liking.

After some delay, because of my schedule and the busy Christmas schedule at AFW, my project was being worked on. I remained patient because I wanted the framing to be done correctly and without flaws. It took much longer than I would have liked overall due to an internal miscommunication at AFW about which colors I wanted and where in the final framing. In spite of the delay, Tone made every effort to keep me informed, which I very much appreciated!

When I finally did go to retrieve my print, I was a little disappointed at the placement of the fillet and the absence of the exposed white on one of the mats. In this regard, I take responsibility because I made some assumptions based on framing I had done previously at a different framing studio. Because I considered this to be my fault, I did not make mention of it and decided I would live with it. Mainly, because I felt if I demanded a change, Tone would have been gracious enough to disassemble the framing a second time, and make it the way I preferred or expected. Instead, I opted to ask for a discount due to the overall time to receive the work and at that, Tone approved the discount on the final cost.

All things considered, I am pleased with the final product. I am satisfied that Tone did everything I asked to make me happy with AFW.

I would use AFW again in the future and I would be very explicit in my wishes, to preclude any misunderstandings. I also would recommend AFW to others with the caveat, you MUST be decided on what you want and you must either convey that exactly or, you must understand what is going to happen with your art work. Meaning, if you give artist liberty to Tone or others at AFW to design your framing, have them explain where any fillet, mat, white showing or not showing on mats, will appear when finished.

I brought them two baseball jersey's I was looking to have framed for Father's Day. They helped me to select the perfect frame and matting for both. I was in a time crunch with the holiday a week away and they were able to get them done with no extra charge and a day to spare. The finished product was amazing. I was not disappointed.

Added bonus, their prices can't be beat.

Bad service I asked for a custom matte for a poster I gave them the exact measurements that I wanted and they decided to give me the wrong measurements. Went back and explained to them it's the wrong size and then I get berated by the owner saying my measurements aren'r right. Again I asked for a size they said they could do and instead I get yelled at by the owner and he decides to yell at me in his language. Not worth the trouble and just went to hobby lobby and got better service and what I wanted. What a waste of time

Just picked up 2 pictures that I dropped off. 1 was a broken frame from when I dropped the picture and the other was an old, old picture of the Navy ship my granddad serves on. Awesome job framing and putting everything together, like usually. This was my 3rd trip here and won't be my last. Best place in DFW to get quality work done at a good price.

Affordable prices... I came to get a price for two custom pictures frames. The price they gave me was $49 per frame compared to a large framing chain store which was $274 per frame, and that was with a 50% discount.

They also had the frames ready for me the next day versus the other place 7-14 days.

Looks like they also print photos which I will come back and see how they look.

The staff was very helpful and nice. I recommend if you want fast service and inexpensive.

I am literally not taking custom framing anywhere else. I paid literally 1/3 of even the '60 percent off' prices of competitors- for an absolutely exceptional custom framing job. I will only take my orders here, now. I highly, highly, highly recommend taking your art here. Worth a drive, too, if you live in the metroplex.

Beautiful and affordable framing! Large selection of frames, mats and glass. Half the price of other stores but just as good quality. My float frame piece looks amazing!

Very fairly priced and never once tried to up sell for my custom sized framing and mountings. I would definitely recommend this establishment for all your framing needs.

Get your quotes them come here, you will be pleasantly surprised at the cost. I paid $265 for 5 custom made frames and mountings which I was quoted over $1000 in the major named stores.

I have experienced horrible customer service from the owners on multiple occasions. They pick and choose who they want to be professional with. It is unethical to charge $40 for editing a picture one day and $0 on another occasion. This price change is not even written anywhere. Seemed like they made it up. Also, they will tell you what they can't do before attempting to help the customer with a solution. They do a great job on the end product, but service and behavior with customers is unpredictable and inconsistent. My family has given so much business to this place for years. Being an old customer, it is truly disappointing to see this.
