Kohl's

I like that Kohls often has big markdowns on clothing, I've gotten many bargains shopping there, service is a bit lacking but I've done ok finding what I'm looking for.
It's not a *high end* department store so I adjust my expectations and shop price rather than service. If you are ok with that you will like the store, if you expect higher levels of service you might not like shopping here.

I want to give a big shout out to Kohl's. I always find what I'm looking for and the service is always good. Plus I bought a shirt that was normally $99.99 but they had it for 75% off plus I had ten dollars in Kohl's Cash so I only paid $15 for it. Now, the shirt in my opinion is probably worth about $10 to be honest but I am a fan of magic and showmanship so for that you get 5 stars and my respect for your hustle.

Numerous sections of their clothing departments are a mess. Does anyone work at this store? Very few associates on the floor. Was here with my girlfriend shopping for clothes. Hard to figure out if they have your size when so much is out of order. Snapped a couple photos of the disorganization. No plans to come back!

I wish there was a way to give them no stars, this store and there return policy on anything of value is terrible. I purchased an expensive watch from here prior to this whole pandemic. I have several watches and do not wear the same one often, so when I realized the watch I purchased wasn't working stores were closed. Now that there open I was unable to return it to exchange not a refund. I could not find the receipt and no I still didn't have the tags that were on it. But it was bought on my Kohl's account, I easily found it but to no avail. So I will never shop at Kohl's again, I have already canceled my charge account and will try to follow up with the manufacturer for repairs for my watch. Apparently Kohl's doesn't need loyal customers. Shame on them customer service at its worst. Now I have a real nice 200 plus dollar paper weight.

Wow, just wow. Never have a been to a more disorganised mess of a store. None of the jeans were organised. NONE. Now I understand people are ignorant, but the people that work there don't even put in an effort. Screw this place cause never again will I go here.

I've never been a Kohl's person..ever. The only time I find myself actually coming here is when I've A) exhausted all other clothing store options B) I have some really great coupon that outweighs the pain of coming in or C) buying cheap gifts during Christmas time.

Today I went into Kohl's for reason B. I got a $10 coupon off any purchase in the mail and I wanted to use it before I forgot about it and it expired. (Nothing's worse than $10 in free money expiring.) I went through the J Lo, Elle and Lauren Conrad sections because those are pretty much the only clothes that are fashionable for someone my age without looking like I'm stuck in my teenage years. There was no sense of order to any of the racks. What's even worse is that the hangers would say a certain size and that wasn't even the size of what was on the hanger. I grabbed a few items to try on and realized very quickly that they were all the wrong sizes. I ended up only buying a necklace that was $14 so I got out of there for $4.

Kohl's is however a great store because they have fantastic sales. Everything is pretty much always 30-40% off and the sales get even better at Christmas time -- although it makes me wonder why they have to make a skirt $75 if they are going to permanently have it on sale for $50. They're faking me into thinking I got a great deal.

I will say that I've only had 1 bad experience with the employees at this store. Most of the time they are pretty friendly.

Kohl's has a pretty good selection. I suggest using a shopping app on your smart phone. A lot of big sale items are other store's regular prices with big signs suggesting the items are 30,40,50% off. The illusion of a sale. Buyer beware. Do yourself a favor and decline the invitation to save a few percent more if you open a Kohl's charge card unless you already had plans to file for bankruptcy and ditch your credit card debt. The interest rates are department store sky high and there is a lot of info online regarding difficulties dealing with their customer service.

I've shopped Kohl's for years! About nine months ago, I purchased a diamond ring. Today I took that ring, which has nine diamonds in it, to get appraised for a trade in on the stones. A representative at Kay Jewellers told me that she can not take ANY of the diamonds! They are all smashed, chipped, or broken. I wore this ring once for maybe a week! It was never smashed or harmed by myself in any way. After returning home to check and see if I have the receipt...I do!! I'm on my way now to return this overpriced piece of junk! Do not purchase diamonds from Kohl's!!

I usually find whatever I am looking for at this store, either clothes or things for the home. Yes, they do have fantastic marketing to make you think you are saving a ton of money. I use my store card and then pay it off immediately to avoid their high finance charges.
