Don Taco

I would LITERALLY sell my soul to don taco if they asked. It's SO freaking delicious. Their little individual tacos are phenomenal, as are their quesadillas.

I always get he steak quesadilla with beans and extra cheese. And their queso and salsa are awesome!

Don nacho was great. The portions did look a little smaller compared to last time. Friendly and fast staff, they got us in and out. I highly recommend this place.

ruddest service ive experienced in a while. several rude interactions. food mediocre for the price. months ago i came and they said for to me, a paying customer, that without my receipt i could not get my food. as if i didn't order 3 minutes go, as if i want unable to read back the entire order myself, as if i dont have the transaction on my phone for the exact price of that order. I tried to explain i accidently threw it away otw to the bathroom and that I have never been asked to provide my receipt up until this point. still he refused to give me my food and they dont refund people. they have no issue screwing over their paying, returning, customers. never again! food not worth the price of experience.

This restaurant is wonderful. I've only stopped in twice and already, I perfer it over Taco Bell. Sorry to anyone who works there. I am not a food critic and know that yelp has been called "a weapon for dumb people," but I just wanted to give this restaurant a good review to help boost their rating and send in sommore customers. I think the restaurant deserve it :-) Please do not take my words personally. A professional food critic knows much more qualified and certified to review restaurants than I am.

One of my favorite spots to frequent! I love their tacos or their bowls. I brought my friends over from out of state and they were impressed. The meat is well cooked. Good sized portions for the price. Highly recommended.

My friends and i went there awhile back, and it was close to closing time, and they still let us dine in. The food was great, the service was great and friendly, and they were very clean and moderate on price. I have no complaints.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat, when I'm visiting family. The house made tortillas are unbeatable. I haven't been able to try anything other than the veggie bowl and the chicken burrito. They are both so good. The veggies in the veggie bowl change sometimes. I think they put whatever veggies they find that are the best, but I have never asked. It can take awhile to get food sometimes, but it is always worth the wait. Lot parking.

I am from San Francisco and the Mexican food in Cali is second to none. Or so I thought. I had the best quesadilla of my life here! And the papas? We don't have those in San Francisco, and I'm really pissed about that, those suckers are tasty! Don Taco! I hope you go National!

Definitely one of the places I will recommend trying out if you are a student at SIU. This place was a go-to when I first came here 12 years ago, and it still is years later. Food is good and will fill you up. Its not 100% authentic Mexican, but the food is decent nonetheless.

I only received half of my order when I called to complain they took my name and phone number I followed up with them once I got back in town the manager refused to replace my order tried to argue with me, lied and said I cursed her out when I had witnesses that I didn't, she refused to give me her name and employee number I was very disappointed and will never eat there again oh yeah and my nachos had more chips than anything and no hot cheese witch comes on it
