I have to give this whole team FIVE EXTRA CAFFEINATED STARS for their professional handling of a middle aged couple who had a total COVID "this is 'Mercia" meltdown when they were asked not to sit in the no seating area CLEARLY labeled with multiple "table temporarily closed" signs, stickers, etc.
"They aren't calling names."
Yes, Debbie. They did. Everyone here knows your name is Debbie they've yelled it so many times. Maybe if you were more focused on listening for your order to be called instead of complaining that you were asked to follow directions you would've been out of here already.

The Starbucks team handled everything so smoothly even with troublesome customers. Thank you for staying out in this chaos so we can still have the simple(ish) pleasure of having our coffee even during this complex time. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Before I begin I should warn you of what to expect. Expect incompetent workers who DO NOT LISTEN to your order and think it is okay to substitute the item you ordered with something else WITHOUT telling you. That is NOT safe in my opinion.

Once again WRONG ORDER. There is a sign on their drive through speaker that specifically says that they are out of certain food items as well as drink items. If you are out of the item that I requested why don't you TELL me BEFORE I complete my order instead of substituting with another item? I ordered a Venti unsweetened white tea, with a splash of heavy whipping cream, 2 organic sugars. What do I get? Guava juice with a splash of heavy whipping cream and sugar. Needless to say I will NOT be coming back.

Coffee is great! Open for seating like everyone else in town please! Makes no sense! I guess I will start going to the local coffee shop if you can't figure out how to open your 5 indoor tables.

Really well serviced starbucks. Made my White Mocha exactly the way I like it!! Great staff who made an effort to make sure the customer was satisfied. I wish all the Starbucks locations were as great as this one. Definitely stop by this location if you are in need of caffeine

What do you expect?
A good cup of coffee, fast service, knowledgeable staff, quality product, stylishly above median prices? Bingo.
Trendy, slightly snooty baristas who may or not be ever so slightly annoyed at the presence of anyone not in skinny jeans, a beanie, or perhaps a casual button down shirt and iPad case....maybe yeah.
Whatever. It's coffee. If you have some need to express a deep seated bandwagon political statement, well then definitely do (or do not) frequent Starbucks. Who cares.

I've never been to a Starbucks location that was more SLOW!! Are all of the employees inexperienced or what? The line wasn't near long enough to justify being in the drive thru for 45 minutes. Won't be coming back.

Just got a hot chai latte it was yum. Also had a slice of gingerbread bread. It was a perfect afternoon treat
Only thing wrong was the girl was not overly friendly and I remembered that here in Pekin they never have been. Most of the baristas at my local Starbucks give me a chuckle as I drive away.

Good food service as well as customer service. Very quick to order and to receive my drinks both times I went there. Looking forward to the next paint ball tournament to visit here again!

Very poor service. Initially, I opted to go inside and order, as the drive through line had 6-7 cars in it. Upon walking inside, there were about 5 employees standing around, joking around with each other. I was not greeted, and it was actually very uncomfortable walking to the counter and trying to get their attention to take my order. After waiting for awhile they one of the employees finally came to take my order, didn't offer a receipt, and was laughing in a conversation with another coworker. There was garbage on most of the tables, as another employee was standing in the lobby talking to customers, not tending to the garbage or the loaded drive thru. Poor customer service and poor work ethic.

Love meeting friends here. Ordered a coffee. Didn't have it brewed, and instead of letting me wait the 3-5 minutes, gave me the Pike. Didn't give me the option of waiting even though I was staying here for a while. Will be meeting friends at the other coffee shop in town next time.
