I pulled into this place because it says it's a skate shop on the front sign. The owner wasn't even in the store when i wanted to get in. i had to wait for him at the door as instructed by the door. When i finally got inside, I quickly realized that this was not a skate shop at all. All they sold were overpriced (and cheap) used, thrifted clothes or drug paraphernalia. I have nothing against those things but it was not what I was expecting and i was severely disappointed

They did have an old vintage pair of vans eras which were dope. Other than that their 'vintage' clothes were too hippie-ish for me and kinda trash overall. I guess it's a good place to go if you need a zippo, incense, or blotter paper. Other than that this place doesn't do it for me at all.

The own was nice tho and he helped me out with what I needed so i'll give him credit for that at least.

Amazing store w/ some really unique things. even if you aren't shopping for anything in particular, just walking around the store is like free admission to museum. everything stocked there is fascinating.

Lazar, the guy who owns it, is is super nice too! he's really helpful when it comes to buying kratom too. most knowledgeable person in eugene or anywhere. a lot of the time you have to wait behind a few ppl in order to get some talk time in w/ him but it's worth it. really glad i found this spot!

I stop by every time I'm around. The owner is a hilarious dude, and easy to spark up conversation with.
You won't just find glass and supplies here- the cases are literally packed full of everything from packs of vintage adult trading cards to little bottles of (god knows how old) hotel shampoos and soaps. This guy is a total hoarder, but it makes his store all the more interesting.
It's been open for almost 40 years, every day. Here's to more.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. It's one of those unique hidden gems in Eugene. I remember the first time I went in there with a friend and I was absolutely surprised. I was shook, I didn't know a place like this existed in Eugene. There are so many cool, crazy, weird, different and amazing things in that store. I felt like I was walking through a world market, I was seeing things from India, Jamaica, Africa and even just things from around the block. I absolutely love the diversity that this store showcases. Thank you for existing! Definitely a store to check out if you have time.

Lazar's Bazar is just about as close as you can get to being inside a kaleidoscope. This store has everything you could need, especially if you need things during an apocalypse. Among stickers and novelty "drugs," you'll find butterfly knives, daggers, and other weapons. In the back, you'll find costumes and posters, and an assortment of other decor to spice up your home.

Lazar also owns Shoe-a-Holic, so often you will find shoes on clearance at the bazar.

This is not a place I would take my mother during her first trip to Eugene, but I would definitely bring all my friends and neighbors. It's just one of those places that is just so Eugene that downtown wouldn't be complete without it.

Stop by Lazar's and see if you can find something Bazar enough for you, it'll be worth your time.

This place is the jam! I happened upon it while visiting a friend down in Eugene and it blew my mind. It is like a temperature-controlled swap meet with some pretty high quality stuff crammed into a little space. That might not sound super awesome to many, but I happen to fancy shops that can captivate my attention for long spans of time.

If you are into counter culture of any sort, this is the place for you. Stickers, posters, clothes, incense, tapestries, smoking supplies, skateboarding stuff, you name it! I will have to disagree with the other reviewers that stereotype the place and its patrons as stoners, hippies, burn outs etc. I am none of those things and I frequent stores like this all time just for the sheer weirdness of it all!

Like Cody said, this place would only fly in a place like Eugene (Berkeley would love it I am sure...).
This is a great place to get unique posters for decorating your college "pad." They have awesome rock posters that are hard to find. It is also a head shop, so if you need something in that department this should be a good place to go.
Tons of random crap basically, and lots of fun to walk around and explore on a rainy Eugene afternoon.

This place has been around for year! Lazar is a trip. Before the internet this was the one stop shop for all your discreet needs. Every kind of trinket imaginable can be found here. If you don't like the price, tell him too much. Everything is negotiable here. I found a super deal on Reef Sandals here, could not believe it, they had my size (14) and I picked them up for a fraction of retail cost!
