I bought a new TV. There was nothing wrong with the old one, so I donated it to SA. They have a drive thru facility which took five minutes.

This is my favorite place to shop, especially on Senior Mondays. Rachael & the rest of the staff are always busy, but still friendly & helpful. The prices have gone up a bit, but that's everywhere. I donate to S A also. Their CEOs don't make six figure incomes. It's a ministry.

If I could give no stars I would! I have been coming her for the past 5 years and my husband the past 10 years and all the magic was ruined by this old cranky Karen behind the counter checking out our items. The store closed at 6:00 pm and it was literally 6:04 pm because she actually decided to quote the time when we bought up that she doesn't need to be rude. Kind you there were 4 people in front of us she had to check out first hence the added few minutes after closing to take care of us. Me and my husband we talking exactly about her things before she interrupted us saying "OK CAN WE DO THIS OUT SIDE THANK YOU!" And rolled her eyes at us. We waited till she was done before my husband decided to say something about her being rude and she made the comment about it being a problem that it's past closing time for the store by 4 minutes and it's a "problem" even though we had no control. We tried explaining that and she literally started to freak out on us saying we are arguing and she started cussing and making rude remarks. Needless to say we won't be going back!

Donation center perpetually closed. You have to go to the one in Holiday to make donations.

I never knew how incredible Salvation Army Thrift Stores are. I've been to many other thrift stores & somehow missed Salvation Army.
The stores are clean & the layout is great. They offer a bit of everything & the inventory turns over quickly.
The furniture is all cleaned & many pieces look brand new. Do take the chairs & such for a test run. As, in all thrift stores, I found recliners that did not want to cooperate. I also saw a couch & loveseat that looked like it belonged in a designer showroom.
I have learned 1 "big"lesson....don't go home to sleep on the idea of a purchase. I made that mistake & when I returned the next day, the item I wanted was gone! If you want it, buy it.....not the time for procrastination.
Staff is very helpful and engaging.

I stop by once in awhile to check their books, purses, wallets, and knick knacks. Overall this Salvation Army is good for selection and service. I find the clothing prices for women and men to be on the high side. For childrens' clothing they have good prices.
Furniture is on the high side so I don't bother looking. Miscellaneous knick knacks are reasonable.
Electrical items, books, sheets, comforters, shoes, and purses are too.
They have a public restroom which is a plus. Cashiers are super friendly. Never had a problem with customer service.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
