Ann C.Freeport, NY01Jun 14, 2017First to ReviewThis store is under new ownership .I was suprised when I visited on Sat 6/10 at 11am.I selected my items & proceeded to check out the clerk was the most obnoxious cashier I have dealt with.He requested my age ID (I am a 69 yr old woman) After the suprise I asked him age ID from me .His response " everyone gets carded here I don't care if you are 100yrs old.I tried explaining to him I am from the area was out for a walk so this time I dont have ID
but I will the next time .That made him more annoyed He said I am tired of explaining to you if you don't like it leave.Before leaving I told him I would let everyone know of your service
His response F--K You
My intent is to find out who the new owners are and notify them of the service

Hello Ann,
We strive to provide great customer service and I sincerely apologize for your negative experience in our store. Our policy is for all customers to provide proof of age for purchasing alcohol, that being said the treatment that you received is inexcusable. I will personally be in the store 5 days a week and if given the opportunity to earn your business I will always do everything possible to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I was so impressed by the way the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all the customers including myself. They are very knowledgeable and I love the recommendations for new wines Everytime I come in.
