Worst management ever ! Several issues with this property in general had to live with mold growing in the Apt . Not to mention the roaches coming out the wall . Also water dripping from the light fixture in the kitchen and bathroom and nothing got done

It was short and sweet.
A friend of mine from a training were procrastinating looking for an apartment here in Houston for our new job. We found Bender Hollow at the very last minute. We decided to choose here because of how great the facilities are and the accommodating agent who helped us.
We signed a lease for 7 months. Today we are officially moving out. I must say, I had a lot of fun memories at this place. I made the most out of those 7 months. Used the gym, walked around the complex and even watched dogs at the dog park on days where I just don't feel like doing anything. The apartment is walking distance to multiple markets and is 10-12 mins away from the airport where I work. I felt safe for the whole duration of my stay.
Our unit was the updated one. We had new fridge, oven and microwave. Our counter tops were marble. Our living, dining and kitchen were all hardwood floor and the bedrooms were carpeted. We had 2 bed and 2 bath unit. I can't say anything else about this place but good words. It was my first time living away from my parents and I was glad we chose to live here at Bender hollow. If there's a need for me to go back in Texas, I will go back to Bender Hollow in a heartbeat.

Not quite sure whom you are but Mirella and Joanna are working with me to get this issue resolved. There is no point in calling the number listed because you only will get a call center, an open work order email confirmation, then not even mins later you will get an email stating the work order has been close without even being notified by corporate directly. I have yet to hear from an concerned Corp staff member directly. Just hear say from the young ladies I mentioned in the beginning, that have been cordial through this horrific experience. My only concern at this point is Rock star Capital improving and not being allowed to do this again to any other potential tenants.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Feb 1, 2018Previous reviewDO NOT MOVE HERE! Most of the reviews are from people who don't currently stay in the apartments and the apartment staff also pays residence for reviews. The only reason this review was even given one star is because Joanna attitude and customer service is great but the actual apartment themselves are HORRIBLE. I have not even lived her an entire month and my experience has been a total NIGHTMARE. I was told there was mildew in the wash room that was sanitized and fixed. After a few days the mildew appeared again. I told them before signing the lease I DO NOT DO ROACHES NOR BUGS and my son is at the dinner table eating and he sees roaches coming from a hole that was infested next to the dishwasher, pics posted. Not only that a week later my kids and I are getting bitten by bugs. My furniture was new and while unpacking I discover a BED BUG in the carpet. I killed it, took a picture and package it for the front office. I have NEVER EVER experienced bed bugs in my life or at any other apartment complex. I equate bed bugs with filth and have never been expose to such things. I was told by management i would have to pay for treatment. This is NOT my fault and I WILL NOT be held accountable. They also have a 48 hour addendum in place for bed bugs, how would you know in 48 hours and that also tells me this infestation is an ongoing issue with the complex.I have contacted corporate for a resolution and have yet to hear back.

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is simple because the apartments complex itself is great. Gated community, pretty good maintenance. Nice pool and pretty quiet. ON THE OTHER HAND, These people want as much money they can get out of you for whatever they can get out of you. It's always something new. A new charge for parking or a new charge for SOMETHING!!! I lived there over 3 years, signed for 15 months & resigned for another 15. I got into a car accident the last few months of my renewed lease and fell a little behind. I made payments as often as I could and emptied my retirement in order to not get evicted. While keeping them informed almost weekly. They EVICTED ME A MONTH BEFORE MY LEASE WAS UP!!!!! They only care about money period. I never stopped making payments and instead of working with a resident of 3 years with a month left, I'm stuck with an eviction on my record and no where to go because NO ONE TAKES FREAKIN Broken leases.

I deleted my original review when I moved out, because I wanted to be done with them and didn't care enough to have them comment on what I said. However, two months later, they are still causing issues. This company will take your money ANY way possible. I received a "final statement" on November 3rd saying we owe nothing, great, as we shouldn't. Then, on November 28th I get ANOTHER email saying we owe almost $200. The sad part is that this isn't the first time they have tried to scam me. It's literally impossible to get in contact with anybody from the cooperate office, so they really don't care if you have problems. The number and email they provide is just the call center and an email account that nobody cares to follow up on. Save yourself the stress and money, don't rent from a "Rockstar" managed apartment! The apartments themselves are old, ran down, and not worth the high rent.

By far my best apartment yet, it is so spacious and so convenient for me. We won't be leaving here anytime soon, especially with the very large sized dog park to keep my perky pets busy!
