I highly recommend Jennifer at Imperial Cabinets & Home Design. She is an expert on the product, helped us with the design and came to the work site multiple times for our questions, changes and inspections when the cabinets were delivered. If anything needed to be corrected, she took care of it immediately and we quickly received the replacements. The cost was a good value and we were able to upgrade cabinets while staying on budget. She also helped us purchase pulls and handles at a lower price than anywhere else.

Their office address may be on the peninsula, but we are in Walnut Creek and she services the East Bay as if she is your next door neighbor.

We love love our kitchen and can't thank Jennifer enough for her help.

Beautiful cabinets that I ordered for rental. Selected ones that looked exactly like high end H.D. ones that were pictured in H.D. catalog, but using different brand and were significantly lower in cost. They are well made and now I have a custom kitchen for 1/2 the price in my rental property and it looks like the picture in H.D. magazine!! Just Gorgeous!

During the planning of our kitchen remodel, our project manager recommended Jennifer in San Mateo for cabinets. Living in the East Bay but trusting his judgement, it was the best shopping experience ever without leaving the house! I sent the design and 3D renderings to Jennifer who sent a link to the cabinets she recommended. The owner of the showroom lives nearby and came to take measurements while FaceTiming Jennifer, and also brought samples of the cabinet doors that I wished to see.

Jennifer is very patient and prompt in answering questions, plus meticulous!
A load bearing wall was to be opened up and she spoke to the structural engineer regarding the short wall to be installed rather than leaving it to chance. It took less than 2 weeks from the time I contacted her to the date that the cabinets were ordered. During installation, it was discovered that our walls weren't perfectly straight so she placed scribe molding on rush order. It was a real pleasure doing business with Imperial Cabinets! Love our cabinets and new kitchen!!!

Jenn helped to design our kitchen a few years ago. It was a big project! We wanted to update and modernize the space with classic and clean colors, while giving the cabinets some character. We needed to maximize space but with a functional island. We also wanted the top symmetrical while still including the vent and hidden microwave (which was her awesome idea). Jenn listened to all of our needs and she quickly came up with a few ideas. We emailed back and forth a few times and ultimately she designed it in just a few attempts. She's very thorough, detailed, quick to respond, and professional. She continues to help us with questions, parts we've needed, and inquiries. We look forward to working with her again on our upcoming future projects.

Jennifer took care of us from start to finish on ordering kitchen cabinets, flooring, countertops, and tile. She did an awesome job and she was with us with until the project was finished. I would recommend Imperial Cabinets & Home Design for anyone doing home renovations.

We worked with Jenny at Imperial Cabinets as she was the interior design partner with our design build contractor Goodfellas.

It was a great pleasure working with her, and the very first thing we did to kick off the 6 month remodel process was meet to design our entire kitchen which only took a fast and furious in-person two hour meeting. I felt it was a really positive and productive way to start the whole process which can be very long, and stressful, and not always smooth. In total, we probably met over 10 times. My husband and I found Jenny to be a very good listener, very patient (even while my husband and I talked over each other while disagreeing over materials), and very positive and cooperative to work with. She always made it very easy to see her, drop by the office and chat in person, and very responsive by phone and text. My husband and I had full trust in her. These are all very important traits to have in a designer.

Additionally, Jenny makes you feel very comfortable and you feel safe bringing your vision to her, and she will help you do whatever it takes to build and design your dream home! She seems very busy and is doing a ton of projects (always a good sign), and would show us photos from her other clients so we could get an idea of what certain tiles or design elements looked like in the "wild." Nonetheless, I found her also very accessible and responsive.

I can imagine the design process is very overwhelming, with the sheer amount of decisions you have to make, and you need a really patient and knowledgable person to walk you through the process. During the remodel process, you never expect anything to go perfectly, mistakes to be made, but as long as you have a partner on your side to make sure that those mistakes will be fixed (like reordering a missing cabinet door, or sending someone to fix a shower door), and someone will make sure they will do everything you can so you are happy, you have a bit more peace of mind.

We are thrilled with how our new home turned out. Our scope of work with Imperial included redesigning our kitchen with brand new island and cabinets, tiles in entryway and laundry room, Caeserstone quartz countertop, 2.5 bathrooms flooring, tile and vanities, shower, and bathtubs and accessories.

My tips to make the design process go by smoother is it helps if you do a ton of research before hand, share your "mood boards" or Pinterest board with Jenny she so has an idea of what you are thinking. It helps to over-communicate and double check on details bc not everyone knows the vision that is inside your own head.

Ordered kitchen cabinets through imperial for a kitchen renovation and very happy with the results. High quality cabinets that arrived quicker than expected (even during covid). Jenny was easy to work with and very responsive to questions & concerns.

I can't say enough how thankful I am to have found Imperial Cabinets and Home Designs for my kitchen remodel. We visited numerous Cabinetry stores across the Peninsula and what separated Imperial from the rest was their amazing Customer Service. We worked with Jenny from the beginning, coming up with a kitchen design/layout. We went through several iterations until my wife and I were happy with the design. Jenny was extremely patient with all the changes we requested and was very helpful in providing honest feedback on what she thought would and wouldn't work. She also gave us options along the way, which I found extremely important/helpful as this is my first ever remodeling project. There are things you just don't think of when this is not your field of expertise and so we were glad to bounce ideas off Jenny and get her expert opinions. We ended with a 3D design of the kitchen and the specific dimensions for all the cabinets/appliances so that my contractors can follow.

Jenny was also flexible with us borrowing the samples (cabinet, flooring, hardwares) home for multiple occasions as we were trying to match our wall paint colors, appliances hardwares, furnitures, etc.

We ended up purchasing our entire cabinetry, vinyl flooring, quartz kitchen counter and backsplash/hardware from Imperial Cabinets and we couldn't be happier.

We ended up going with Imperial Cabinets after a chance interaction with Jenn at the store in San Mateo. It was a brief interaction but even in that time I could tell that there was a real enthusiasm and helpfulness in trying to figure out a solution that worked for us. From that point on, every verbal commitment that was made by Jennifer was kept. If she said she would get us something by a certain date/time, she would. During the delivery date, Jenn came on site to make sure everything was undamaged and the shipment was complete. She was also very cooperative in changing one of the cabinet pieces when we found it would not work with our microwave. So the customer service did not end once we paid the money, which was so nice. Jennifer has a passion for design and customer service, and it really comes through. I would recommend her services without reservations.

One point I'll note is that the cabinet selections are a little limited, but that is what you get if you're not going custom, and we ended up pretty happy with what we got.

We worked with Jennifer to help design out cabinets. We had kind of an odd shaped kitchen after taking a wall down...and while we had a vision for what we wanted we had no idea the possibilities in cabinet options until we sat down with Jennifer. Jennifer helped us design our kitchen and provided us with amazing 3d visual aids. The showroom is small but well stocked and well organized with tons of sample options to look at. We ran into some minor snags which is typical in a remodel and jennifer was immediate in her response to help with a solution. We are extremely happy with the design and the finished materials that Jennifer helped us pick out.
