I have been an Advance Auto Parts customer for decades. This location has poor customer service. I have experience quite a few bad experiences at this location but finally decided to comment.
I had to get something from them but decided to get a few other things while I'm in there but I really have to go pee and I cannot take my time and shop for multiple items if I really have to go, so I asked the old blonde lady and the mid age black guy wearing the "tacticool" American flag patch baseball cap if I could please use their restroom since I cannot think clearly. Well they didn't care, they are still using the COVID as an excuse, meanwhile none of the employees are wearing mask anymore.
So I went next door to their competition and use their bathroom and had to go back to at least get washer fluid that the competitor did not had and they look at me and went like "oh he is back". Yeah well not for your great customer service just for the one thing that I needed most and done. I will not go back to that location. The stallings one is way better.

We walked in an hour before the store closed. Not only did they quickly find the headlight for our Toyota, but Stan quickly and cheerfully installed it! No extra charge! I saw them working with other customers, and they were always attentive and helpful!

I was eating across the street at Showmars and got a notice from my car that my key fob had a low battery. I drove over to Advance Auto Parts, I tend to always go to them anyways and always had a good experience, especially at this location.
I walked in and was immediately helped by a nice young man named Rick. He intuitively looked at my hand and already knew what I needed without me even speaking.
I handed him my fob, he took it apart, identified the battery, went and got a new one, installed it and told me to try it out, it worked flawlessly. He then checked me out immediately and I was on my way.
All of this service for only $6.42... Thanks for serving your customers with intelligence, quick service and care. I will always be back.

Don't waste your time here. I bout a tool that was defective and brought it back the same day. They would not honor a return and could care less that a customer had an issue with their product.

I was having issues with a blown fuse connected to my stereo. I went in to ask for a little guidance and received none. The blonde female associate looked at my fuse, saying it looks just fine. I asked if it could be a fuse from the engine bay. I brought my manual in (assuming she knew how to navigate one better than I) asking where I could find a diagram. She said "we can't do anything further, we've done what we can do." That's horrible service. I asked for a little guidance on where to find a diagram, the epitome of lazy is what I received.

My right front signal light burned out on me the other day and I came here to get a replacement bulb.
I was helped right away and the guy staffing the desk looked up my make and model to figure out which bulb I needed.

My car was having electrical issues and we brought it to this area in Matthews. Tried Pep Boys first, they didn't have time for us (as is the likely story at this location), so we went next door to Advance and got everything figured out in 15 minutes.
Rick checked our battery, found what we needed and replaced in less time that it takes to check out at the grocery store. He was smart, informative, quick, and professional. He didn't try to sell us anything extra and just did his thing.
There was an online 30% off coupon that we were going to use, but the manager said that would delay the sale so she just gave it to us in store--no problem!! Went from a car barely running to on the road for less than $130-installed. Five star all the way.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
