Playa Bowls

Went here once on national acai day and once before that. I got a mango bowl one time and an acai one another. Both times I went there were a good number of people ordering and there was even a line out the door on national acai day.

The time I ordered the mango bowl I ordered it ahead on the app. The app did speed up the pick-up process, however, the app was not intuitive or easy to use. The process on the app wasn't particularly fast and it often had trouble loading (ended up having to close out the app three times). I would try it again just so I know whether the reason for the problems with the app were due to high traffic (national acai day) or if it is always like this. Both times the bowls were great and definitely had a good ratio of toppings and smoothie.

Came in on Sunday morning to try out the new location and ordered the açaí half pitaya bowl which was SO GOOD! The place was crazy busy with in person and online orders and the girls working there were incredibly kind, patient, and friendly despite how overwhelming it must have been. There was a super sweet blond girl behind the counter doing a million things at once from taking orders to wrapping up takeout bags and packing bowls to calling out the names of customers as their orders were passed over to her. I didn't catch her name but she deserves a raise!!
